[Resolved] Max Life Insurance — premium amount auto debited from my account without my authorization

Hi,
My policy premium amount was auto debited from my credit card without my authorization. When i called customer care, they told me that i opted that option during my last payment. But i am 100% sure that i didn't select that option during my last payment. This is unprofessional and cheating the customers. I am planning to go to consumer court.

Max Life Insurance Customer Care's response Dear Ravivarmaninfo, The inconvenience caused is deeply regretted. Our customer has spoken to you and mailed you to confirm that as a measure we have upgraded our system and this auto select option has been disabled. Now, in case you wish to register you credit card you may check 'auto debit' option while making online payment followed with OTP sent to the registered mobile number.
