Maxbhi / Elcotek Telecom — maxbhi e-wallet scam / fraudulent activity | |||
On 18th october 2019.. I placed an order for a samsung galaxy s4 zoom lcd.. The status of the product was "available" on the website and therefore i placed an order by paying the amount using paytm. Maxbhi cancelled the order in the very next day by saying that the product is not available anymore. The amount which i paid is now in the useless maxbhi e-wallet which i'm unable to initiate a refund. I'm getting an insufficient balance error whenever trying to click the "transfer to bank account" option. I have tried contacting the customer service team but they refused to initiate the refund. They are illegally holding funds using the maxbhi e-wallet. I clearly don't understand on what basis does this company have the rights to hold customer's money without providing any products or services. I'm also moving forward to file a dispute in the consumer court and rbi against this fraudulent activity. People should stay away from this scammers.
