Mebelkart — Damaged and defective products delivered, neither giving replacement nor returning money | |||||
I ordered (A) one carpet and (B) one teak wood coffee table from mebelkart on 17th may, 2016 (Order id #[protected]) The carpet was delivered on 24th may, 2016. It had the following defects: 1) some parts were defective, threads torn apart. 2) some parts are discolored After following up with the company on 9th june, 2016 i opened a ticket (Ticket number #59352) on condition to pickup the carpet for either replacement. The teak wood coffee table was not yet delivered till then. Company have picked it up from my house. Still i haven't received any replacement or refund amount or any other further communication regarding this. There are no response from the support persons no matter how many times i call. Next, the coffee table i ordered under the same order id was delivered 16th june, 2016. (Please note here that i was not able to raise a different ticket for this defective coffee table as i ordered it together with the carpet and the order id is same!!). It had the following issues: 1. First of all, this is not teak wood as the order details show!! 2. One stool has a dent on the side panel, underneath the cushion. Also, a leg is having a piece of wood chipped off. 3. The other stool has a leg completely dis-joined. Moreover, someone tried to fix that up!! I can see 2 screw holes!! 4. There is crack underneath the central joint of the table 5. Also, there are multiple dents and wood piece chipped off from several parts of the table Initially, the support person once vendor confirms that the product was defective then only refund can be arranged. Now, after multiple mails and calls, none of them are having any minimum responsibility to address the issue. The defective table is neither picked up for replacement nor are the company arranging for any refund. As per current situation, the carpet they took back is also neither replaced nor was the money refunded. This is simple and plain cheating!!
