[Resolved] Mebelkart — Order delayed for one month and then cancelled | |||||
My order no. [protected] on mebelkart.com This is a complaint against bad people from mouthshut. I placed an order in first week of may, and it stated that the order will be delivered by 6th june. I was surprised how will it take so long but still i went through as this was a new startup and i was ok with it. The problem started arising from 29th may, when the order was not still dispatched i mailed their customer care through their website to which they replied - "we are sorry for delay the order will be received by 6th of june." i was still ok controlling myself. Then on 8th june i again mailed them as i didnt received the product to which they replied - "due to seller issue the product will be dispatched in 15 days." By now i was furious i told them i will go to the consumer complaint forum. But to my surprise today that is on the 10th june i received a mail that the order has been cancelled due to seller issue. This cant be happening these cant play with the consumers & their money for 1 month and after that cancel the order. I hereby demand through your forum a compensation should be paid by the mebelkart.com for the agony, harassment and all the problems i had to face first for the delay of the product and then cancellation. If they had cancelled it at first i would have got the product from other site as i was in need of the product. And due to waiting for it i lost on numerous offers on the same product from other website portals. I need a strict action against these people who think they can play with the consumers at will and can do anything. If nothing is done from here, i will make sure i order cod on random addresses without accepting them. Was this information helpful? | |||||
