Nusring services are pathetic because of (1) poor quality of nurses and (2) inadequate number of nursing staff.
Just see that a patient admitted in hospital and nursing staff took nearly 3 hours, after checking in the room, to change teh dress of patient, patient press emergency bell and nursing staff takes minimum 20-25 minutes to come to patient, visiting doctor in room calls for nurse and it takes them at least 15 minutes to come and on 2 occasions nurses didnt even come after repeated call by doctor.

Doctor at nursing station didnt come to counsel and appraise teh patient at time of discharge. Medicines which were to be taken in night at bedtime were mentioned as to be taken in morning after breakfast. When pointed out to doctor then he was too casual in his approach and said that there is a mistake.

Neither and Dietician come nor anybody from hospital gave the diet chart at time of discharge. Next day when we asked for diet chart then we recd a diet chart thro email, but without any patient name and unique code of patient and was just blank, as if it is a standardized diet chart to be given to any and rather all patient.
Patient was admitted for renal treatment but is also suffering from diabetic, hypertension and other diseases. Whereas, diet chart indicated that it is diet chart for renal treatment. We dont know that whether the diet chart took care of other diseases or not.
When tried to contact hospital on[protected], then I made 7 attempts to talk to dietician for more than45 minutes and everytime it was a long musical wait and then phone disconnection.

Such a pathetic service level and that too when the daily room rental is Rs 8000/- and so many other hefty charges, but we paid whatever were the charges of hospital but services and patient care is just pathetic and its deteiorating day by day.

This option of complaint is adopted when I didnt get any response from hospital after lodging complaints to them on their official email including to Mr Trehan's email.
Infact, Mr Trehan and company dont bother about any such complaint, as their only aim appears to befooling teh patients and collecting as much as possible without giving value for money.

It appaers that Mr Trehan and Mr Sachdev has found a short cut in making hospital die slowly and ultimately closing down, because after so many complaints specifically about poor nursing infrastructure, but no corrective action taken.

Mr Trehan forgets that right now he may be in business of monopoly but with such level of services, he cannt sustain long

    I made a payment of rs 27500 for pt scan for patient against patient id : mm00968344 through imps online transaction no.[protected] on 17th may & on the same time i checked with finance dept. They said they haven't received this amount in their given yes bank account as bank site was down at that time.
    So as suggested by their finance executive vibha thukral, i again paid same amount of rs 27500 at hospital through credit card. And she made a commitment that they can made the reversal soon if amount got cleared from yes bank.
    Anyway many verbal reminder given but no reversal made so they again told me to share the account details & ifsc code & refund will be released soon.
    I did the same but again after regular followup they are paying no attention for reversal.
    Kindly look into it.

      I visited Medanta Gurgaon for the treatment of my father. I started with Dr Ashok Vaid and later case was transferred to Dr Nagender Sharma for further treatment. On perusal of there website, there is no mention of any Dr Nagender Sharma on there site, as such the credentials of the Dr can not be verified by me. May I request you to direct the hospital to update the details of the doctor at the earliest.

        My father mr. Sultan ali (Mm[protected] underwent ct scan on 17/4/2017 at medanta, reported by dr sonal krishan. The report of the scan mentioned four residual tumors in liver. We went to interventional radiology deptt in medanta where the scan was reviewed and we were told that there are five tumors in liver and the missing fifth tumor was shown to us on ct images on the screen. The ir deptt went ahead and ablated all five lesions (Thank god the ir doctors evaluated the scan themselves and did not rely on dr sonal krishan's report).
        This is gross medical negligence to miss a tumor in a patient. We request the hospital to refund the money charged to us for the ct scan as it has been reported wrongly.

          Dr. Nitin Sood is extremly bad. My cousin, aged 28, went for leukimea AML M5 treatment. Doctors, specially Sood could not identitfy that he got sepsis. No treatment for sepsis was started and he died in a couple of days. He had developed blisters on skins and was operated upon without giving any antibiotics for sepsis. He vomitted blood within hours of operation. Later in his death cause, they simply mentioned sepsis as the reason.

            We wanted to get done bental procedure as advised by respective doctor (in and out) to get rid of aortic dissection type A. We got a package of rupees 6.50 Lakhs from Medanta hospital to do bental procedure and I authorized for same procedure. But during billing process Medanta hospital stated that Mendata has done two different procedures.
            1. Bental Procedure

            2. Hemi Arch repair

            As I have authorized for only bental procedure but Hemi Arch repair also been done without prior my consultation. Now these 2 different procedures, bring some doubts in my mind
            1. Whether do the doctor of Mendata hospital failed to do proper diagnose about patient?

            2. If it is not failure of doctor’s diagnosis, then how doctor not informed me about this process before doing the operation. As they have not demanded any fee for this beforehand.

            3. As Doctor has done repair of Hemi Arch but why not its replacement

            4. Also, Doctor has not advised me about benefit of repair or replacement of Hemi Arch.

            5. On what basis, doctor identified to do Hemi Arch repair not replacement.

            6. What is the success rate of hemi arch repair and replacement and what would be life of these two?

            With all these doubts, I would like to say that What package was demanded for Bental procedure has been paid before operation with all remaining by us.

            Package of bental was 6.50 lakhs and later demanded for another 2-3 lakhs extra more than the initial package. Now we don’t have any remains to pay these extra rupees 2-3 lakhs.

            We do please advise you to eradicate the lacuna which are obvious from above. We do praise the hospital staff for their well warm welcome and support they provided at emergency.

            We are not able to pay more than the package amount of rupees 6.50 lakhs.

              Dr prathiba dewan oncology is a fake doctor never visit her please my humble request, i visit to her with my mom with all her evidence reports and all without properly examing she refer us for biopsy then when she unable to find anything specific she told us she assuming that patient have cancer just because she dint feel like eating and she losing wait so she assumed she means my mom have cancer really nonsense and disgusting where else we under go through her operation at her local hospital just an tumour operation. Which she was telling probably be done within 8 to 10 lacs that just happened with 1 lac . Idiot doctor

              I recently visited medanta for my full body check up and i was so happy to see the good services provided by the hospital, staff and doctors to me. They attended me with great attention, and i liked the infrastructure alot. Doctors are also very experienced.

                    My name is Dr.Abbas Ali Khatai. I am an Emergency physician. My father; Mr.Shawkat Ali Khatai is admitted right now in room no:4832 at Medanta medicity Gurgaon. He is a post complication of CABG which was discoverd two days back and now admitted for an urgent angiography. I am sorry to inform you that this has been a very painful and alarming experience for me. I am a specialist at a NABH and a JCI accredited hospital; which makes me well aware of the protocols and procedures. For starters; the entire situation was very emotional for the patient and the family; but being educated and in the medical field; we accepted it and went ahead with the angiography. We were promised the best cardiologist for the procedure which was very kind of our admitting ctvs consultant. As you know an angiography is an awake procedure; my father was alert and aware the entire time.A junior trainee was given the procedure unsupervised!!! It doesnt matter to me how many angios he has done in his life; but a complication post CABG should have been done by a senior consultant.How can you let a trainee do a procedure unsupervised?? The trainee gave it multiple attempts, voicing his disgust and joking with the nurses; causing severe pain to my father. My father had soo much pain that he went into bradycardia (I will specifically mention the heart rate-32!). This was followed by a frantic call by the trainee to the senior consultant who came in and did the procedure. Also to add that trainee admitting out loudly that he hasn't studied the procedure; "maine ye padha nahi". I am flabbergasted and outraged!!! .This was the last thing I would have expected from a brand that 'Medanta medicity' is. Adding insult to injury; all this informatiom and complications were hidden from us by Dr.Nagendra singh chouhan. One hour post procedure my dad loat vision in his right eye; after alerting the duty doctor, we were informed that there is no ophthalmologist to examine him. After almost 24hours an ophthalmologist examined my father and declared that he has a cilio-retinal occlusion and he will not get hIs vision back. I am extremely hurt and broken. I cant bare to see my father. This complication should not have happened.it was a huge medical negligence. The cardiologist did not apologise or explain himself.

                      A routine knee replacement surgery of my uncle at Medanata Hospital by Dr. RajGopal took his life. He was in coma for 11 months and passed away after a long fight. During his stay in the hospital ICU nurses and doctors were rude and negligent. They made too many mistakes. Peg Tube replacement caused peritonitis. His shoulder was dislocated by the staff.
                      Dr. RajGopal does not inform the patients about the complications of the knee replacement surgery. You are made to believe it is a routine surgery. But the patient is at a serious risk of fat embolism leading to lung failure, brain damage, coma, kidney failure and death. You sign a fine print form at the last minute. It's a FRAUD! Indians are being tricked, the doctors are becoming billionaires and some o[censored]s are dying.

                          I went medanta to know about the eye laser treatment and my experience was bad there. No one cared about the patient but were busy in there other stuff.. After 1 hr i got my eyes checked by one of the junior doctor, who doesn't provide me proper details about the treatment and said me to come after 2 weeks.. Its just not a right behavior to treat the patient who came so far to get treatment. Also, some areas of the hospitals were not hygienic.

                            I also have bad experience with medanta. as i heard about cancer specialist dr. rajeev agarwal. i went there to discuss reports of my sister which shows that she is in cancer.
                            We paid consultaion fees 900 and entered in the cabin.
                            My two brother in law were with me. dr. rajeev agarwal asked for reports. then i showed all of them. he said that surgery is the last option.
                            And asked for our input.
                            Then i started and showed my concern about surgery.. chemo... n.. all.
                            I was surprised that after just 2 minutes of query dr. rajeev agarwal said that he would have stood and gone... if i will continue my guery.
                            That's the way... dr. rajeev agarwal talk with cancer patient n their relative. shame.

                              बहुत अच्छा article लिखा नंदिनी जी आपने। बड़े- बड़े नामी hospitals का तो बुरा हाल है। मैं February 2015 में Gurgaon के एक बहुत बड़े multi speciality हॉस्पिटल "MEDANTA-The Medicity" में अपनी Heart problem को लेकर Dr.Naresh Trehan से मिला। Rs.800/- उनकी consultation fees जमा की। Dr. Trehan ने मेरे Lucknow के records और पुरानी reports देख कर कहा कि आपके 3 valve ख़राब हैं। इन्हें replace करना होगा।खर्चा बताया 7.5 लाख रुपये। मेरा 2D echo test भी किया गया और तब भी यही बताया गया। Medanta के ही एक और Director हैं Dr. Kasliwaal. हम लोग उनसे लखनऊ के एक उनके परिचित के reference से मिले। तब Dr Kasliwal ने Dr. Trehan से बात करी और हमको 5.75 लाख जमा करने को कहा। हम लोगों ने जमा कर दिए और admit हो गए। check-ups start हो गए। 12 March की date दे दी गयी surgery की। 11 March की रात में जो लिस्ट release की गयी, उसमें मेरा नाम नहीं था। अगली सुबह जब drs round पर आये तो पता चला कि आपके urine में infection है, उसका treatment होगा तब surgery होगी। treatment में सुबह-शाम antibiotic injections लगने थे। 6 दिन का course था। Medanta का room 8000/- per day का था। हम लोगों ने discharge ले लिया और बाहर guest house में रहकर treatment लेने लगे। 5 दिन बाद मेरे एक Delhi के मित्र ने कहा कि एक बार cross check के लिए कहीं और भी echo करा लो। हम लोग Delhi के National Heart Institute में गए और वहां 2D echo कराया 3000/- में। उन लोगों ने बताया कि आपका 01 valve खराब है। उसकी सर्जरी करके replace की cost बतायी 3.75 लाख। हम लोग बहुत confused हो गए क्योंकि Medanta में हमारा 5.75 जमा था। हम लोग Dr.Kasliwal से दोबारा मिले और उनको National Heart की echo report दिखाई। Namrata ji, believe me, Dr. Kasliwal सर पकड़ कर बैठे रहे, उनका पूरा staff करीब 8-9 लोग उस समय उनके चैम्बर में थे, Dr. करीब 30-40 सेकण्ड के pause के बाद बोले कि - "यार मैं तो Trehan से पहले दिन से कह रहा हूँ कि तेरा एक ही valve खराब है, लेकिन क्या करें, हम लोगों पर इतना pressure रहता है।" Namrata ji, I was shocked to hear this. उनका सारा staff उनकी और हमारी शकल देख रहा। उनके चेहरे पर शर्मिंदगी और मेरे चेहरे पर असंतोष के भाव थे। मैंने कहा dr साहब मैं आपके पास फलाँ व्यक्ति के reference से आया था। कम से कम आप उसी का सोच कर मेरे से ईमानदारी रखते। खैर, हम लोगों ने बाद में अपने पैसे वहां से वापस लिए तो 80000/- काट कर हमको पैसे वापस किये गए। 80000/- hospital ने अपने expenses कt.v. gकाट लिए, जो हमारी जाँचे हुई थी और 4 दिन हम लोग 8 star हॉस्पिटल में रहे थे। फाइनली, हमने अपनी surgery Fortis Escorts में कराई Dr. Z. S.Meherwal ने करी। इस प्रकार से बड़े hospitals मरीज़ को cheat करते हैं। यह मेरा अपना व्यक्तिगत अनुभव रहा जो कि अत्यन्त दुखदायी है। इतना बड़ा hospital, इतने बड़े नाम वाला डॉक्टर और ये हाल !!!

                                This is not a hospital. This is a business house where doctors are just taking money and not bothered about patients. One of the gaurd told me sir in this hospital when doctors ask for sample to test. We throw those sample in dustbin without even testing them. And those tests comes in billing. Nurses literally beat patients in icu in absence of patient's relatives. My grandmother was admitted there from last 25 days and she went there on her own legs but they killed my grandmother. When i called the chairman of medanta dr. Rajiv parakh i abused him and at the same time i took an advocate from high court on a conference call. Dr. Naresh trehan often comes to delhi high court as they have killed so many people in last 1 year. So many cases are filed against them but it's all fine with them coz they are safe coz of mr. Chotala. They use the same treatment. Dialyses, ventilator. I have seen so many patients on ventilator who were dead but still they were on ventilator coz medanta has a different policy. They say keep the patient in hospital untill and unless their family doesn't sell their house and pay us atleast 40-50 lacs. They killed an 28 years old guy coz one of the foreigner family needed kidney on urgent basis. And medanta is such an amazing business house where they knew that from foreigner patient they will get money in dollars. So they killed that guy. One of the family told me my son is on ventilator from last 2 months. I mean come on doctors don't you have family? When i called dr. Rajiv parakh and i started abusing, he was fine. When i asked him if you true and life saver then take me to an icu and show my the alive patients on ventilator. You are keeping dead bodies on ventilator just to make money. Doctors in medanta are on percentage, there is no salary. Thats why their focus is on making more n more money. Dr. Rajiv parakh, dr. Naresh trehan, dr. Sanjay mittal, rumneek kaur. Kindly check medanta public review before you take you love one in this hellcity. They are not doctors they are criminals and doing crime openly.

                                brother i have full sympathy for you because in today's fast paced greedy and hungry business practice have converted this noble medical profession into a ruthless killer machine. Doctors are supposed to be healers and givers of life, an ambassodor of God on earth and their first priority MUST be to save a life and discharge the patient as early as possible to home, but i am witness to a friend of mine who is unfortunate to be in Medanta now for over 2 & 1/2 half months with one after another complex problem cropping up; just have a heart for the relative of patient how he or she is feeling but it seems all staff have some targets to meet whether it is quantum of tests, or surgeries or operations i.e. how much revenue each employee is bringing to the top and bottom line of this industrial house- headed by renowned brand name of the celebrity behind this premium deluxe hotel or hospital!!!

                                  My father had a surgery on 12 may, 16 and room was to be allotted at 7pm and they made patient wait for 4 hrs. Also the doctor didn't gave the review about surgery. The management staff keeps on making fool of customers and make them move around for the discharge process. The discharge process takes more that 5 hrs. Also the services were very poor. Please make sure that future patients don't suffer the same thing....

                                  Respected sir, there is no doubt that your hospital is very good . Because everything in this hospital is handled properly except the hospitality of this hospital. Actually the thing is there was a water supply problem in the washroom in my room and i complained 2 times in house keeping but nobody came to see the problem. This is the worst experience i have ever had.

                                    High attitude of the security staff.
                                    Rude unclear n poorly trained (but trained in stealing things). on 27feb night at the check in point the lady guard damini took out 80k from my mother's purse when she was checking it.. when my mumma noticed her purse in the nxt morning she was shocked.. when we complained to the concerned authorities about the lady guard... they straight away refused to call her in the hospital... they said "hum uski neend kharab ni kar sakte"
                                    Staff member kuldeep meri behen pr chillaya.. he dont knw how to talk to girls.
                                    All the security members kuldeep pankaj dinesh were with that lady.
