    Hi, When my sister got up from anesthesia after the operation, after 2 minutes she felt sharp pain over the surgical area.It is the duty of the nurse to give pain killer injection as soon as possible, They should have arranged pain killer injection before operation, my sister cried in pain for half and hour as she needed pain killer injection, she felt like dying from such a severe pain unbearable pain.Nurses told my sister pain killer injection got misplaced at pharmacy.Pain killer injection was given at 12 o'clock, my 19 years old sister suffered from unbearable pain till one and half hour due to hospital irresponsibility.Such a careless hospital.
    Next to my sister bed there were other patient writhing in pain.
    AMRI hospital is just close to this hospital at the same location, AMRI i can say is far better than this Medica cheap and curropted hospital.
    I made a huge mistake for trusting such a cheap hospital.They are treating patient as if it's a free hospital and not charging anything.
    Careless hospital and such a bad service in high price.
    Guys don't ever choose this hospital for any kind of surgery.

      Worst service ever. The receptionists are the worst among all.They all don't know anything and impose whatever they want. I have to wait 3 hours only to confirm a angiography date via WhatsApp and not through doctor! And on the procedure date they simply called and told one of their lab is not functioning so it will be late by 3-4 days, so do whatever you want even after doctor suggested immediate surgery.Very lethargic and lazy. Two co-ordinator Amrita Bhowal and Babita are worst of them. And we always says private is best. They took admission or even booking on the basis of bribe and recommendations.
      Never ever recommend Medica.Worst hospital in Kolkata.

        My self Mrs. Debasri Das under treatment Dr Chandima Dasgupta Gynecologist in Medica hospital last 1 years. sir I'm facing some problems CVR pain, dr advice required surgery and we agreed to surgery and total cost was Rs 70000/- for this surgery. after one month we go the doctor for review Dr said need another surgery required for her overly chis. again total cost around approx. 1lacs so my questions is that why she not confirmed this time when she doing surgery as per my view doctor careless and un profanation or get her targets for the hospital. so please do the needful otherwise we going to consumer court if not replay with in 15days.if required documents we summited all.

          Kindly note that my family member aged 10 yrs was admitted in the PICU unit on 15th February under my custodianship as local guardian and thereafter the patient’s father was given an access card to get access to child in PICU unit . However even after several attempts to get a sight of the child atleast once was not allowed by me during last 3 days . This is completely inhuman and unethical . Then why did the hospital took the admission at the first instance under my guardianship if they cannot provide access later on, not even during visiting hours . I am totally aware that only one relative is allowed for each patient and same was complied . Despite several requests it was turned down. Secondly neither there was a continuous monitoring of the fits and convulsions of the patient which was needed in the ICU for pediatrics having such symptoms.

            Dear Sir/Madam

            With all due respect, My sister Mrs. Mona Shaw is a MVR patient and she is also suffering from chronic kidney disease. We have approached ESI Scheme for her treatment and ESI Hospital has referred my sister to Medica Hospital Kolkata for her surgery and doctor has advised her to admitted immediately, however hospital corporate desk has confirmed us to get the approval on the letter dated 11.02.2023 which we have submitted on 14.02.2023 with approval from ESI but hospital corporate desk has refused to admit her and shared another revised letter and told us to get the approval again on the letter dated 14.02.2023. We have been harrased by the hospital corporate desk and my sister Mrs. Mona Shaw has been waited all day in hospital inspite of her critical health condition. This is not the way to treat any patient.

              They never gives a token or time. They call names without any proper announcement tool. And the rude behaviour does not make sense because every patient and their family is bound to visit a medical facility. And we don't have any voice because of that. They don't value neither patient nor their grief or their time. As we are dependent on the doctors and we will have to visit, please behave properly and value our time.

                  Dr. Roopesh(Ranchi branch) is very mannerless doctor. When his sisters are not cooperating with patients then doctor must resolve this. But in our case doctor came outside and rurely told to return patient file for which we are roaming hospital from last 2 days. Also this doctor use to make loose comment with patients during treatment. Here one more noticeable point is during consultation he examined the health but not informed us as it's extra charge. Directly after examination they given one parchi to pay the additional amount to counter. This doctor is a complete cheater and roothless behaviour and must be taken consideration by Medica management. I have personally met with hospital supretendent and explained him the case. Also handed over him to all medical reports which was not of any use for me. May Dr Roopesh use that report to have Samosa and chatni basis on his behaviour.
                  Also i have submitted written complaint to hospital supretendent and marked to Medical association of Jharkhand.

                    My mother's pacemaker implantation has been done on 5th May'2022.Management was too good then and all nursing staffs were so caring. So took a decision for her laproscopy on 8th September '2022.But now management is worst, they have taken extra money from me though the Authorised amount from my office insurance showing 50071, they showed it's 50000 and took the extra charges from me.Nurshing staffs are so careless. Worst experience .

                      Myself Rama Ghosh, @4am i felt with CVR pain in my lower abdomen and i was admitted in EMERGENCY at MEDICA Hospital at 127, Eastern Metropolitan Bypass, Nitai Nagar, Mukundapur, Kolkata, West Bengal 700099 under supervision of DR. Souptik Gangopadhyay.as discussed with with junior Doctor he suggested that the pain can be cured by doing laparoscopic surgery.he assured that pain will be fully cured and in feature can conceive with pregnancy my husband had corporate mediclaim i was ready with the surgical procedure.next day with out any treatment i was transfer to gynecological ward in bed no-4/44.and my husband had submitted the mediclaim document to the respective TPA consulting with DR.but doctor maid his statement of infertility as he suggested that 26YEAR OLD FEMALE PATIENT COMPLAIN OF GRADE IV ENDOMETROISIS ADMITTED FOR DIAGONISTIC HYSTEROSCOPY AND LAP.DYE TEST.AS HOSPITALIZATION FOR INVESTIGATION AND EVALUATION PURPOSE FOR PRIME CAUSE OF INFERTILITY(Documents Attached).for this statement my husband was rejected for the mediclaim.as there is no policies for infertility.my husband was totally shocked after rejection of the mediclaim and he consult ed with DR souptik Gangopadhyay for clarify and justify the exact medical issue as i have no clue about infertility.my husband try to justify the issue with the Doctor but he unable to convene the doctor for withdrawing the infertility issue.but my husband was rejected by medicalim. next day i was gone through Laparoscopic surgery.its very shocking and unfortunate to hear that, I had been operated only for investigate and experiment purpose with out cure of actual reason of my pain.I have also gone through” lab die test” which was not necessary for my treatment as I don’t have pregnancy on that time.after 4 days I was discharge from the hospital after paying RS-99603/- by cash.me and my husband has no clue and clarification about the treatment and the doctor was also unable to clarify the treatment procedure and he told us that we have done Laparoscopic surgery only for investigating purpose.till date I have received the complete laparoscopic report from the hospital.

                        My mother was diagonised with renal cell carcinoma tumor grade 2 on her right kidney on 24/12/2018 and she had undergone open right radical nephrectomy(left kidney dismemberment) and was discharged on 31 dec 2018 after that the consulting dr partha pratim dutta suggested a followup checkup after 1 month for hb, urea, creatinine but never suggested for a ct scan xray to checkout that tumor spreading or not and he also said that the tumor is benign and we don’t have to worry about it and she is out of danger he never suggested to consult an oncologist after 4 years she was diagonised with 4th stage lung cancer(infiltration by atypical cells with rounded nuclei and abundant clear cytoplasm, large sol in right lung, consolidation in left lung, mild pleural effusion bilaterally, cardiomegaly) started spreading from that renal cell carcinoma and she is now fighting with it since 30 days in saroj gupta cancer centre and now she is in palliative care (max 2-8 of life left) such ignorance from medica has led her to this state shame on you pp dutta(Partho protim dutta) he must stop calling yourself a doctor(murderer).I need answers for such ignorance or I will sue you criminal scums.

                            My father (Vijay Gupta) had a kidney malfunctioning and extreme low BP problem owing to which I approached the Max Hospital, Bathinda on 24-May-2022 at around 11 PM (IP no. 67167). Patient was admitted to ICU in an emergency. I have 2 major concerns in a treatment of less than 2 days which are given below:

                            1. As per the management rules, there is a very short span of time in which we were allowed to meet the patient. We were assured that my father will get the best care that is what Max is famous for. But unfortunately, carelessness from your hospital staff lead us to such a mental and financial torture that we had to ask for LAMA.
                            In one visit, my father was sleeping without oxygen cylinder. It got detached while sleeping and nobody noticed that for significant amount of time. In subsequent visits, my father asked me for water and told me that he is asking from last 1 hour but nobody gave water to them. Even I had to ask for that twice. Also, the food served in the evening time was not fresh or hot. (Probably the morning food was supplied in the evening). There were few more such events.

                            2. We were told in the beginning that that an ultra sound needs to be done in order to check the cause of the disease. But it was not done till morning of 26 May. But the charges o[censored]ltra sound were added in the final bill. Also, I did not find any ultra sound report in Patient's file. So the question arises (i) why and how did they do the ultra sound in just 1 hour which was pending from last 30 hours. (ii) It was really done? or only the charges were added in the bill?

                            At last, I would like to say we all had suffer so much harassment in all this that we won’t be able to trust Max Hospital services.

                            Now it’s up to you that How will you ensure that this won’t be repeated again and what about all the torture we had gone through?

                                Case synopsis:

                                Name: Swagata Chaudhuri, 69

                                Date of First Dose Vaccination : 5th March 2021 at Medica
                                Date of Second Dose Vaccination : 31st March 2021 at Medica
                                Paper Certificates were given by Medica for both the doses as also the money receipts.

                                The case:
                                Medica at the time of the second vaccination inputted a wrong telephone no. and COWIN reflects Swagata Chaudhuri as vaccinated only the first dose and the second dose is due till today.

                                Therefore Swagata will not be able to register herself for the Booster/Protection dose and she can not produce her vaccination status anywhere through the Cowin.

                                Medica says:

                                Medica (Ms Debolia, responsible for Covid vaccination) has been saying that the telephone no. was wrongly inputted as[protected]instead of [protected]) and the user of the wrong telephone no. is not responding. Under the circumstances, Swagata is helpless and needs (a) correction of her status in the Cowin and (b) the Booster dose asper her eligibility. Medica Hospital can not simply say they are helpless and deny their responsibility .

                                  Hello,
                                  My father is the current registered patient of medica hospital mukundupur kolkata UHID 435370. He is a regular patient of CMO Dr mahbook alam mullick at your hospital. In the last visit to dr alam he suggested us to contact a cardiologist for another opinion and personally referred us to dr Arindam pande on the same day.
                                  When we went to dr arindam pande he mentioned since we are not carrying the halter report graph ( was carrying summary) he wont be able to advice anything now and asked us to visit next time.
                                  I booked an appointment from the number [protected] on 24th 12 noon for dr Rabin Chakraborty for another opinion. The recordings are available and i mentioned we are a patient of dr alam.
                                  The medica online team gave us the appointment. I took my 78 year father on 29th dec 2021 in wheel chair to the cardiology opd in the 3rd floor. After making us wait for 70 minutes, the assistant to dr rabin Chakraborty told us since we have already shown to dr arindam pande, rabin Chakraborty wont be seeing my father today and refused our appointment.,

                                  I have raised this complaint to the public grievance cell immidietly wherein after 1 hour and hearing the recording all they could tell me is, the mistake is at my end as i booked a doc from the same dept.
                                  My point is,
                                  a) If this rule is so critical, why did you take my appointment and my old father had to travel
                                  b) Why we were waited for 1 hr before refusing ?

                                  This behaviour is highly condemnable and i request you to look into this.

                                    Dear concern, After CoWin reg. with phone no [protected], UHID : MSHK 616897 Bill No: OPCS 435990 Myself Hemanta Kumar Dutta aged 68 yrs. & UHID : MSHK 616895 Bill No: OPCS 435993 my wife Chandana Dutta aged 61yrs. got our first covishield injection at Medica on 5th th March 2021 at 3pm. Medica must have made bulk upload only on 12th mar. as shown vax. date on my wife's certificate but no cert. for me. Our second dose we received from corporation centre, as that point of time vaccines were not available at Medica. Now unlike my wife's case, my first dose, which I got from Medica, as stated above, might have not been properly updated in the portal but i got SMSs from 2 govt. agencies. Due to this, I am unable to get the full vaccinated certificate can'nt tour anywhere.. I have called few times to the Medica customer care, but failed to get any results. I complained to various govt. agencies also. But, unfortunately, even after continuous follow up for last 4 months it is not updated in the portal. Being a senior citizen i feel really harassed, frustrated & traumatised due to this kind of mismanagement .. Kindly do the needful asap and please inform the same. Regards

                                      Sir,
                                      This is to inform you that yesterday during Hemodialysis, there was a huge blood loss due to negligence on hospital part for which the staff were accusing the patient(Prasun Chatterjee, my father) of removing the needle.
                                      On 6th & 8th October, 2 units PRBC Transfusion was done. Yesterday, on duty doctor suggested to conduct a haemoglobin test on next dialysis date which is on 20th November, 2021.

                                      My mother is senior citizen was crying her heart out to me. As a son I trying to put the matter strongly to the hospital authority but they are denying the fact. This a legal matter and the patient could have lost his life due to hospital negligence.

                                        Pathetic service provided by the ground level people!! They are more concerned about their so called nonsense rules and regulations even if its an EMERGENCY!!!
                                        ZERO support from the customer grievance cell team!!
                                        I earnestly request to take strict action against the SECURITIES and the ground job people!!
