I have been visiting Medanta Medicity for my father. From past 5 weeks they have been diagnosing the problem with his health.
Firstly, they misplaced the tissue sample and I had to pay for alternative tests and the amount for that alternative test was more than double. I am still waiting for the final reports because they are facing some technical issue and not able to connect to doctors who will assess and issue the report.
The doctor expects patients and attendents to know the medical terms and the staff are rude. Even doctors do not call their sample\test depart and ask patients or attendents to run between the multiple floors and get the information. The staff don't know how long it takes to get any type of report and their operations team is just communicating to say they are "sorry for the inconveniences".
Their staffs gather to do gossip but do not know who to contact before discharge of in-patients. Since the same test cannot be performed immediately I cannot take my father somewhere and just waiting for their report. His situation is not improving as doctor cannot start medication until set gets the report. In short, I only have to call them and ask when can I expect the report.
Is this what we expect from a renowned multi speciality hospital?
