Medanta The Medicity — Wrong treatment and negligence in treatment

Dear Sir/Madam I am Anwar Hussain from Gurgaon, I was taken appointment from Dr Rajneesh Kapoor for treatment of my Father on 24.12.2015 due to cardiac attack on 14.12.2015. As per Dr Rajneesh Kapoor and Team they had suggested me for Angiography to find out the reason of heart attack and % of blockage if any. They had offered me a day care package of Angiography for INR 11000/- and ensured that all procedure shall be completed within 4 Hr. I said o.k. to proceed and paid INR 11000/-. Examination team has taken all sample for test and handover to patient to Cath Lab without finding the Glucose level in Normal condition. During the Cath Lab procedure glucose level of Patient was 35 mg/dL. and they has started the procedure. During the procedure time patient has lost the confidence and got frustrated and mentally disturb due to low glucose level and shown lots of pain in body, Vomiting complain, Sweating etc. Situation was out of control and patient got violence due to mentally disturbance. Even patient has lost control on his senses and done motion on bet at Cath Lab area Immediately I have requested from Dr to cancel the procedure and Dr has shifted patient in ICU. immediately Nursing team has measure sugar level in ICU and It was aprox 32 mg/dL. Dr was also surprised that how examination team has given clearance to cath lab for angiography. After 2 Hr Dr has met with me suggested that we have to wait for normal Glucose level and we has cancle for angiography to do by Today. It will be done on tomorrow meantime you have to admit to patient for some observation. I asked the question from Dr Rajneesh Kapoor that tomorrow is 25th Dec (X'mas) will you be available. Dr replied me, Yes. I will be in Cat Lab during procedure. In mid night 1.00 AM ICU Team has shifted to Patient on Bed No 5910 on 9th Floor and taken sample for some common test. On 25th Dec 2015 Cath lab had called to Patient for Angiography with complete set-up. before the starting of test procedure Cath Lab team has called to me and told we can't do this test at today due to some abnormalities in Test reports. Cath technician has advised me to Meet Dr Mayank who was on duty that time. Dr Mayank has told me that we are sorry today we can't do angiography due to abnormalities in creatinine level it is 2. So we can't do angiography, It can damage kidney. I had tried to contact Dr Rajneesh, and he was not in hospital due to holiday and Dr Mayank has told that he has already contact with him. He has told to wait. You need to wait for next day. We had also informed to Neurology team and they will check to Patient and advise for next procedure. When I returned on ward i told to ward care TL, What is next procedure. TL has informed me that Dr Rajneesh has hold angiography for today. You have to wait for tomorrow. Immediately I told to TL That i need to talk Dr Rajneesh, He called to him and told me you can meet with him on 3rd Floor. I told him Dr Rajneesh is not in hospital today then how you are saying that he is in hospital. TL has replied me that you can meet Dr Mayank. Dr Rajneesh has left the hospital. I was surprised what he was saying? Neurology dr has visited in ward at afternoon and seen all report and told me that we have to do one more test for creatinine level and will informed to Dr Rajneesh. Dr Rajneesh can have to take decision because we can control the creatinine level later. I asked to neurologist that which day you have done test for creatinine level. Neurologist has replied at yesterday on 24.12.2015. I was surprised. I asked neurologist the how yesterday you were doing angiography yesterday when creatinine level is not control. Neurologist has replied that we were considering you past report which was done on 14.12.2015. Which was done in UP during heart attack time. In evening on dated 25.12.2.015. Nurse has told me that we have required to do USG for kidney check-up and complete KFT as advised by Dr. I was surprised that I came for angiography and they had started for kidney treatment and admitted unnecessary to my Father. I have taken budget of 11K and now I dont know what is billing amount even I asked from TL for estimate but he is not giving the estimate. I am not able to pay much money. All mistake has done by Medanta's employee and increase my bills. Now I am very upset and decided to go for legal. How they can do these kinds of negligence. Please support me for right judgement.
