Hi,
I had submitted for my mother mala Krishnamachari who was admitted in hospital on 16 June at night 10.45 and 17June neuro surgeon confirmed that patient can live without ventilation support and her brain burst and filled all the parts of the brain.I[censored] want to keep her in ventilation u can but she cant be alive.So we asked for discharge hospital said need to say before 2hrs to start the process.At night 8.30 informed and last 10.30 PM we started from hospital and hence patient passed away at 11.11 Pm.When i asked for claim submission first they didn't mention anything.2nd time i had submitted no response And 3rd they are saying since 24 hrs hospitalization is not done no reimbursement.My question to Medi assit is patient is not alive for 24hrs why u re denying the claim
For reference attaching the discharge summary.I[censored] need to proceed legally pls let me know the process to proceed further.I had enquired star health insurance and doctor also they said in my case u can ask them.Claim id 28876432.
