Medi Assist India — cancellation of the policy

I am Thejashree, an employee of HPE company. I have submitted the parental policy accidentally and I wanted the policy to be cancelled since my parents already have lifetime health insurance and tried cancelling wherein it never included that option at all.

Firstly when we have the option to add so we should also have it to cancel as well.Secondly in the parental policy document it is nowhere mentioned that the policy cannot be cancelled. When i had contacted their support team they just gave the same reason that it cant be cancelling and asked me to refer to the policy which doesn't include anything regarding the cancellation.

Not even a single email sent by me is being responded even till the escalation level.

I want the policy to be cancelled right away as i wouldn't wish to lose more money for nothing
