Medi Assist India — I am complaining about claim#19924135 | |
1. According to the Cognizant Medical Policy all the original Physical bill documents should be sent to MediAssist team for reimbursement of Pre/post hospitalization. All the documents are uploaded to the site and the original bill documents are sent to Chennai on 1st of July. After receiving those everyday just before ending of the Working hours of the team I was informed about the status of the details of the Claim for the reimbursement. For few days they used to ask for the documents repeatedly which had been already uploaded and sent. Continuous Mail communication and raising tickets solved this issue but the status of that claim didn't change. 2. For your notice all the mails for further information always sent to me mostly in evening and asking for document uploads always counted the day it's been informed to the insured. SO almost a day has gone already when I was informed about the missing documents. 3. On 07.11.2019 I was asked again to submit all the reports in online as well as Physical documents. I don't have any idea how is this related to the verification process to proceed further. All the copy of the reports are already sent to Chennai and uploaded on Month of June itself. Even in mail communication I have mentioned about this repeatedly. After a knee surgery the patient requires those reports (original) to visit for a doctor in regular basis for atleast next 6Months. All the original reports including X-ray, ECG, Blood Sample tests to show it to the doctor. I cannot show them up the Xerox copy of those reports for further treatment of the patient. It's absolutely meaningless to asking for the Original Lab reports. Even in the policy documents it's nowhere mentioned to submit the original Lab reports. it's only the original bill documents which are required to be submitted and it's been already done. 4. The Toll Free number & the mobile number provided in the MediAssist site is not responsive at all. From June to till date I am not reachable to that number once for further communication. Though it's mentioned in Policy those are 24x7 available. Was this information helpful? | |
