Medi Assist India — Not processing claim | |
My mediassist claim id is CCN# 22357093 and #22357132. I filed this claim in July 2020. At first both claims got repudiated because of non-availability of settlement letter from my Spouse insurer. I received the letter in Oct and same time I requested to re-open the claims. I have sent the original copies of the medical bills, lab report, prescription by courier along with the settlement letter also. Post that in app I can see that claim is acknowledged but after that no further progress is seen in app. After several mail chains and calls to customer I got to know that document verification is pending on insurer side. Once it is done, money shall be credited to the account provided at the time of claim. And from last 7 months it is the same. Whenever i call customer care they say we have escalated this you will get a response within 48 hrs. That never happens. I have called around 50+ times. Every time same reply. I have raised complains via mail. I get auto acknowledgement of the ticket. I get a complain id which says will be resolved but no resolution ever happened. I have around 10+ these complain ids with me (Latest being [protected]). Now I got an update saying that "Considering the claim is for FY[protected] and insurer book of account closed for the previous financial year, we regret to inform you that this claim cannot be accommodated under the present circumstances. We regret any inconvenience." This is a serious case mediassist is trying to dodge of the claim and playing with customer sentiments.
