My 11yrs daughter has been admitted in NICU with covid syndrome and coughing.Atfrst it was not said to us that she will have to stay alone in the word.My child is kept fully alone their without any parental guidance.Now 3days to go she remains alone and get mentally traumatic.She does not take food properly as she becomes poor day by day.She is pleading continuouly to shif her with other covid patients atleast or stay with parent their.She gets huge distressed physically and mentally.My earnest request to shift my child with parental asap.I am requesting to the hospital pls enlightened the dark side o[censored]r management.

    My wife admitted in the medica hospital on 27 oct and discharge confirmed on 11 Nov. I requested the hospital that I have travel over 200 kms hence discharge formalities be do in time. I waiting from morning 9 AM to 3.30 pm but they are not able to clear discharge papers. Even they are not allowed to meet patient in wards.

        Mshk is fci empanelled and technically sound hospital, that is for why i use to come here for a better treatment, but it is regretted that staff behavior getting worst day by day. They are aggressive and non cooperative in attitude. There are some instances,
        1. 10 june, i had came for opd consultation and just like before i reached to the ortho opd and asked for billing, the lady attendant with yellow uniform (Not the doctor co-ordinator) said that have you done your billing? I said no, then she told me to get it done from out side at first, "kaha kaha se a jate hai."
        As per before, i had thought that the billing for opd consultation were used to done at respective opd counter. But, how do i know that the system has been changed! And why i am supposed to get some ridiculous comment from hospital employee???

        2. During the admission at corporate desk, a staff named anjali, misbehaved with me a lot. Having token, i had to wait for 20 minutes to enter, then seeing my paper (Issued by doctor co-ordinator) she said it is wrongly filled up by co-ordinator, so get it corrected. I agreed with her approach & requested for not let me wait again by taking token. She denied very rudely. Having their fault why i have to get it corrected? Why i have to wait throughout a day for admission. She argued with me in a very rude, apolite, aggressive and bad mannerred way and told me that it is the administrative rule.
        3) nursing staff are too inadequate, most of the time our cabin were left without any attendendant. I had to wait for more than 15 minutes after request for help, to have a urin pot, to have a glass of drinking water, to have a mask, to get my bed rise up etc. The urine pot (After urinate usually sticker to the bed side) was being cleaned after several hours.
        4) at last, the doctors are god for patient and helps us get rid off from the problem. Most of the doctor are very careful, polite, gentle to the patient. But, the dr. Ghosh came for insertion of catheter of me, seems very disturbed and irritated as the nursing staff failed to do that. He approached in very humiliating manner to me and told me in scolding manner that "oi oi kapor tol, kapor tol," i didn't expect a doctor using some language to his patient.
        4) why someone ot patient relatives has to wait out side of inner premises? At least one ot patient attendant should allow to wait at the inner premises of the hospital till the ot is going on.
        5) after the one week of ot, i had to go to the hospital to obtain a certificate from the treating doctor. But, after a repeated requesmshk is fci empanelled and technically sound hospital, that is for why i use to come here for a better treatment, but it is regretted that staff behavior getting worst day by day.             Hi medica dialysis team,

            Yesterday as per the dialysis schedule my mother taken 4 hrs duration dialysis.
            But the issue is that no water release from my mother’s body during dialysis at medica and said that currently you have no water in your body. After post dialysis her wait is 44 kgs and pre dialysis wait is 44.12 kgs also inform you her dry wait is 39 kgs. I have attached here previous dialysis and yesterday dialysis paper for your reference. Team this is too much careless thing happened in medica. I have faced this kind of issue not this time previously also faced several time this issue. Because of not release water currently she is facing breathing issue.

              My father was advised a medicine in the morning and was not provide the medication till evening. We found that and reported the mngmt but no action was take. Late night when they fail to provide we our self purchase the medicine. Also the nurse applied the medication without cleaning the affected area. It was too much of negligence in all the aspects.

              Nothing was done...after we provide the medicine it was only provided to the patient after several reminders. We complained the Management but they failed miserably.

                Two days before i call medica super speciality hospital for a appoinment of dermatologist dolly gupta, they take my mobile no and name and said that appoinment confirm, and sait to come tuesday between 10-11 am. After i reach at hospital after 3hours journey, they said that dr dolly gupta is not available today. She is going to chaina. They are so irresponsible that, they dont even inform me about that,. So irresponsible team they are.

                  I have admitted my wife Guriya Kumari at Medica Super Speciality Hospital on 08 Aug 2017 under Chandrima Das Gupta.During treatment procedure she made ileostomy by Dr. Sanjay Mandal which was not described by doctors to do so. After surgery I querry about this. But Doctors said to me -was he doctor.At this hospital made a bill of Rs. 55000/-.After that surgery two consecuent surgery was done on 01 Nov 2017 (surgery cost Rs. 152000/-) and 25 Feb 2018( surgery cost Rs.100000/-) by the same doctor. But patient condition is not satisfactory till date and all doctors at kolkata rejected to treat her.Please suggest what to do and reply question given below:
                  Q1 Is Dr. Sanjay Mandal a registered doctor and what is his registration No?
                  Q2. Is Doctor engage in any illegal work?
                  Q3 Had treatment done by doctor in proper way?
                  Q4 Why did doctor not describe reason for ileostomy discharge Summary?

                    Hi,

                    My patient has been admitted in medica few days back with some gallbladder and liver problem (Specifically having stone), but in serious condition. They recovered her to a better condition in few days and was admitted to general.

                    She was suppose to get release by today (07/02/2018). But, last night we were informed that her situation is critical and she needs to be shifted to ccu and may be ventilation. We agreed to that, and identified that she was having blood infection.

                    Later when she got recovered, she told us that nurses failed to provide some medicine to her on time (Because two nurses were speaking among themselves that 'why don't you gave the medicine in time') and they pushed some medicine into her. After one hour, she got high fever and was not able to breathe, she pressed the calling switch but no one responded asap.

                    They shifted her to ccu resulting in 1 lakh extra bill till now and still counting.

                    Someone, please help me to raise a legal action against them. I have already informed the press and they have agreed to cover the news.

                      On 20/11/2017 myself & spouse with my 4 years old son went to the hospital at 9:45 am, to meet dr. Anirban chatterjee for which we submitted the file at the front-desk from where it was submitted to the preparation room at bay 4.
                      When i asked them about tentative time for visit... They said they have a system & they will call in due time.
                      At 2:30 pm we were called, my son was laid on the bed. They plugged the cutting m/c and said that it is not working.
                      They call their maintenance team.. Took the machine and came back after 30 min..
                      I asked them.. The answer was not working.. Pls wait
                      Some internal discussion was going on and i was only told to wait.
                      At 4:45 pm i was told to give my mobile no. They will contact me as they had made a indent for a new machine and they will contact me after its arrival..
                      This is yours super specialty. Your's system.
                      Its shame that you do not have any alternative, no spare, no preventive maintenance and you claim to be certified by nabh, nabl etc.
                      I will mark this copy to the medical board as well as to the certified bodies and others.
                      You are there to remove our stress but you made me stressed. Whole day we suffered as we came from along distance, we could not go for food as they were unable to tell the time, my days wages gone for this simple issue.
                      After all you made a child suffer...

                      My daughter admitted Medica on 27/11/2017 with 7 days high fever, and finally decided to discharge on 4th Dec'2017. Now in the discharge department, they are absurdly consuming the whole day... Then the others process like TPA process will go on... So, think before going to admit at MEDICA SUPERSPECIALITY HOSPITAL...

                        My father suffered a injury on the back side of his head when he fell down in an unconscious state. He vomitted few times and seeing that we had admitted him to medica super specialty hospital, being near to our home.
                        My father had a medical history of a heart aortic valve/root replacement (Bentall procedure) in 2015. As a result of which, he was taking anticoagulant as prescribed by cardiac surgeon during discharge since 2015. When we admitted my father in medica on 23rd spetember 2017, we were told he would be under observation as he had been taking an anticoagulant which might have caused an internal bleed in his brain. We were also told that the treatment would be conservative, and once the anticoagulant is re-instated in the medicines, ct scan would be done every 48 hours to check the condition of bleed in his brain. So heprain infusion was advised as a anticoagulant rather than acitrom which my father used to have before this accident. The decision of advising heparin was that heparin was a short term drug and the chances of impacting the blled in the brain was lesser than acitrom. Then there was puja vacation time during that phase when the doctors were off and same medicines were being given. There was no improvement of the parameters of the heart (Pt/inr) during these period and it kept on going like these. But the ct scan reports showed no further bleed. So when the doctors came back on 3rd october, we met the cardiac surgeon and informed him of pt/inr of 1.06. On hearing this (He wasn't aware of the situation at all!!), he assured us that he would start the acitrom 4 mg (The dose which my father used to take before the accident took place). On 5th of october, pt/inr was relatively better and close to the desired level (1.96). But father developed a high fever (Temp 105 f). When we enquired about the possible reasons of the high fever, we were told that it is hospital induced infection which can happen to any person staying in a hospital. We were shocked to hear such a possible reason from highly qualified doctors in the medica super specialty hospital. Currently, he is being treated with antibiotics for the infection and the blood cs reports are still pending as on 07.10.2017!! (It was sent for tests on 04.07.2017 and we were told that the results would come within 3 days).

                        The point that i want to make here is medica super specialty hospital is basically stretches the stay of a patient by either inducing infection (As in my father's case) or creating a fear in patient's family's mind which would compell them to make the patient stay in the hospital.

                        And lastly, the billing is completely irrelevant where one needs to be check line by line to highlight the discrepanies in the incorrectly inflated bill.

                        A horrible experience with the medica super specialty hospital!! Will raise a grievance in all possible forums and take the matter to government run medical grievance cell.

                          Slow death..that's what Medica is. Irresponsible people all stacked up in this #### place. They will make sure that you feel worst. They would keep no stones unturned to make sure that you feel the least important person on the face of this world.
                          There's this woman called Deepa, and trust me I am a feminist but, because of women such as her humanity is at loss. See made us wait wait n wait just to say that doctor will take some hours more. Seriously who says "some hours more".
                          To cure Patients is your business...if not for ethics at least take care of them for your business.

                            My father has been admitted in this hospital. No doubt doctor was good but experience with nursing staff as well as management staffs was horrible...
                            Before going hospital with patient, went alone and talk with management staffs in emergency, I clearly discussed, patient need to admit under one specific doctor, if they may able to admit under that doctor then only we may come with patient. That they agreed but at the time of admission they tried to convince us for admitting under other doctor.
                            At the time of admission they told patient will admit in hdu, 5th floor but admitted in hdu 2nd floor when I sought explanation they told in emergency patient's condition was deteriorated due to that reason they admitted in better backup ward where bed charge will be increased only 1000. When I challenged and tried to talk with doctor then only came to know doe to bed availability they shifted our patient to other ward...this two are examples. Eveey day every time we felt that behaviour / serviced of management staffs as well as nursing staffs are very poor, unprofessional and unethical. They were cheating us...

                              My husband was suffering from acute pancreatitis and is under treatment of dr sanjay mandal at medica superspeciality hospital for more than 10 days.But I am very sorry to say that this hospital is the worst in kolkata after the seeing the incident with my husband.One night he vomits a lot and after calling the nurse and doctors they dont even come to him. The very next morning when I went to the hospital to meet him. I found him senseless and his clothes are completely messed up with the vomits.And when I asked them they just try to avoid and makes lots of excuse.Even dr sanjay mandal dont cooperate with us he makes us beleive that my husband will be cured soon but I lost him.This hospital is highly professional and after charging a huge sum of money they services are very bad they dont take care of the patients.I just want to aware you of the fact that before admitting any of your relatives to this hospital please think twice.They only know how to make buissness with the patients and their family.

                                This hospital only knows to increase a patient's bills. They are least bothered about curing the patient's disease. For the amount we have been billed, the treatment provided is absolutely unacceptable.

                                My mother-in-law was admitted on 16th June and is still on ventilation today(4 July). The inefficiency of the doctors is clearly evident in the kind of treatment they have done so far.

                                Once they understood that we had Insurance, the charges they have described and billed are absolutely insane.

                                Hospitals should be focusing more on curing the patients, however for Medica it seems only money making is their major objective.

                                Yet, in-spite of the money they have taken they still haven't cured my mother-in-law.

                                Kindly request to expedite the treatment procedure and also revisit the charges before patient's discharge and provide a sensible final bill.

                                  I had a SHOCKING experiece with this hospital. My mother was admitted with bone fracture and she was operated and put in the ICU. This hospital, to my surprise, allow people with shoes in the ICU. Due to negligence, my mother not only developed bed sores but also she was not cleaned after she passed stool. She kept telling the nurses but they would not listen. When I asked the nurses why was she not cleaned, they said, she was passing stool too many times. ( HUMAN RIGHTS ISSUE?) My mother developed severe fungal infection due to this in that area. She developed septicemia in the hospital, which the doctors could not cure. In that frail condition of hers, the doctors were adamant to do an endoscopy which we said no to. Her case was so severe she had started developing psychosis and would not recognize people. Finally we got her released from the hospital on our own risk and put her in another hospital or I fear she would have died. Thanks to The Calcutta Heart Clinic, who did their best to cure my mom. She is now on her path to recovery.
