Medlife — Delivery not on time and gross negligence

Dear medlife team,

I had to cancel the order because your team could not deliver on time.
I do understand that because of lockdown there is surge in demand and you guys are unable to procure orders and are in process of resolving the same but what about us, we too are facing with covid and mental hardship because your team forced me to cancel the order.
I am requesting refund of the discount lost due to the following reasons:
- if you were unable to fulfil the order, then why at first instance are you guys accepting the order. Stop accepting fresh order. First complete all your pending orders then you guys should have accepted the new orders. Please note i had placed order on 5th july for which medicines were going to be delivered on 8th whereas the same were not even processed till 10th @ 2pm as few medicines were not in stock. So you can see the time difference, there was sufficient time given to your team to make good the order.
- i had called your team on 9th july to check the status of the order wherein i clearly communicated that on 10th evening we are going native and we will require the bulk medicines before that wherein your team confirmed that it will be delivered by noon of 10th july. However, i did not receive my delivery by 12 noon nor any call back instead i only had to call back. So i waited for two hours and gave a call at around 2pm wherein i was given to understand that your order has yet not processed as few medicines are not available.
So if you guys were not having medicines readily available then at first instance say no even if you were not sure on 5th july but atleast when i gave a call on 9th july you should have communicated me and cancelled the order instead of giving false hope and making us wait till the end and then forcing us to cancel the order. I cancelled the order at 2pm and then i had to roam around locally to medical shops here as the medicines were in bulk so many were not having in qty or few were out of stock.
- i have been chasing the team consistently since 10 july for the issue which i faced, over the phone and email.

So now instead of just dropping email that your order is cancelled and we cant help and we take your feedback and ensure such thing never happen is pointless.

So because of your non fulfilment, i was forced to cancel the order, forgo my discount and face hardship then to purchase medicines locally and to follow up with you guys daily to discuss the issue.

In view of the above, now i request not only to refund me back the discount amount which i lost but i also want the compensation for the hardship which i faced to roam around for the medicines in this corona time and am facing now for the constant follow up to get a response.

Separately, your team has ample time to give daily two phone calls to purchase medicines even after telling them we are not in need and asking them to block my contact details and still receiving calls. It would have been prudent if the team could have called me when there was a need for the call back wherin i did not got any callback and now you guys are behind me to place the order.
