I had booked a 5-year trip package with Merging Star Holidays in Goa on December 18, 2024, for which I had paid Rs. 1 lakh. At that time, a boy named Arbas had facilitated the agreement and assured me that I would receive the card details via post. However, I haven't received any information yet. Since then, I have been trying to contact him, but he neither answers my calls nor replies to my messages. Please take action against him and arrange for a refund of my money. Scenario if by luck your call is picked and someone answered by mistake:
Even if you get the card it won't do anything, they will never book for you. First they ask that when you need a booking, if you ask for 2-3 months in advance then they ask you to wait and call back before 1 week, so you cannot rely at all as you don't know next time they will pick or not. If you ask for booking with-in a week then they ask for details and if you look for 4-5 star hotel then they refuse to book (although they committed only 4-5 star stays for which people fall in trap). So they will suggest some OYO type hotel (not sure even if that will be booked, I have never seen any bookings done by them). If you would like to book only 4-5 star with them then they tell you that you have to pay taxes and that too for 10 days i.e roughly 40-50k you have to pay to book this which is not even guaranteed. So I guess people will decide not to book this.
All in all they just don't book even some OYO type hotel for you, if they book then ask for charges (which is not going to happen as I feel).
If you try to reach out anyone no one is there to help, answer or refund. So it's a complete loss.
Registering any consumer complaint won't help anything except that it can warn others not to fall in this trap. Everyone knows how our systems work and that what they are making use of. They know nothing will happen to them and they can enjoy on our money.
