    Dear Sir/Madam,

    Shipment number: 567337
    I, subin hereby submit this legal petition to bring attention to the severe loss and damage caused to my shipment by Metur Parcel Service, and to seek appropriate redressal for the same.

    Facts of the Case:

    On 15 May 2023, I availed the services of Metur Parcel Service to send a shipment from Karunkal, Kanyakumari district, Tamil Nadu, to [Destination Address].
    The shipment was delivered approximately one week later, on 20 May 2023, by Metur Parcel Service.
    Upon receipt of the parcel, I discovered that it had been severely damaged, with the packaging torn and all the products inside in a wasted and lost condition.
    The damage to the parcel clearly indicates mishandling and negligence during the delivery process, resulting in significant financial loss and inconvenience for me.
    Breach of Duty:

    Metur Parcel Service failed to exercise reasonable care and caution in handling the shipment, as expected from a professional courier service.
    The loss and damage of the shipment demonstrate a breach of their duty to transport the parcel safely and securely to the destination.
    Legal Grounds:

    The loss and damage of the shipment by Metur Parcel Service constitute a violation of their duty of care and breach of the contract entered into between the company and myself.
    As a consumer, I have the right to receive services of acceptable quality and to be protected from negligence and misconduct under the Consumer Protection Act,
    Relief Sought:

    Compensation: I seek appropriate compensation for the lost and damaged products, amounting to 10000, which reflects the value of the lost items and the inconvenience caused.
    Refund: I request a full refund of the shipping charges incurred for availing the services of Metur Parcel Service.
    Damages: Considering the mental distress and inconvenience caused by this incident, I seek additional damages to be determined by the Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum.
    Preventive Measures: I urge the forum to ensure that Metur Parcel Service takes necessary corrective actions to prevent such incidents in the future, safeguarding the rights of other consumers.
    Supporting Documents:

    Copy of the original shipment receipt.
    Photographs of the damaged parcel and its contents.
    Communication records with Metur Parcel Service.
    I request the Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum to consider this legal petition with utmost seriousness and provide an opportunity for a fair hearing of this matter. I also request that the forum expedite the proceedings to ensure timely justice and resolution.

    I am prepared to provide any further evidence or documentation required to substantiate my claims. Please notify me of any additional information or procedures required to proceed with this complaint.

          Parcel number 144463 Booking from Mayiladurai to coimbatore
          Booked on[protected] time 11.30am at mayiladurai MSS office

          Above bill is charged as 1800rs and bill not given by mayiladurai mss office. After 4days I get delivery at coimbatore they given bill as 1485rs plus unloading charge 65rs..
          I have paid extra 315rs in mayiladurai office and not get the proper feedback. There are totally cheating the customer without giving the bill and got the extra amount. This totally disappointed the whole MSS service.

            In reference to the above, we had done a booking on 22/3/2023 from
            Coimbatore –New Siddhapudur Branch to Trichy – TVS Toll Gate.
            Tax Invoice No. 4764 dated 22/3/2023 Amount Rs.25695/-
            LR No, 1356802 dated 22/3/2023
            (2 Length pipe + 1 Gunny Bundle) – Total THREE ITEMS

            It has been 23 days and my customer has not received the above materials.We have been following and calling all the concerned branches and customer care on a daily basis, but are yet to get any results from them.Initial they kept telling loading & unloading problems, then they switched to telling that material has gone to some other branch, then they told that due to heavy load of stock, they asked for sometime to find .My customer even went there six times to check the stock, but
            the materials are not there, neither in the main Trichy hub nor in the Trichy Tvs Toll Gate Branch. Now after all this, they have even stopped taking our calls and even if they take our calls, they speak rudely over the phone, especially the TRICHY HUB MANAGER – [protected].

            For your information these are the following person numbers that we have been meeting and in constant calls, who have been giving us false promises
            MSS New Siddhapudur – kanikraj – [protected]

            & also called the Customer Care – [protected]

            EITHER DELIVER THE MATERIALS WITHIN TWO DAYS OR PAY FULL COMPENSATION FOR THE AMOUNT MENTIONED IN THE TAX INVOICE.

            HOPING FOR SOME POSTIVE RESULTS THROUGH THIS FORUM, and receiving the materials within two days or the compensation.

              I have ordered a cot from Tirupur and it is booked for delivery to Trichy Woraiyur branch (G.C:[protected]. but, the cots have not arrived yet. only the legs of the cot have arrived in Trichy Woraiyur branch. Last week when I asked them they said that they will send the part of the bed. but, till today they have not sent it. today when I asked them in person they said that they will definitely send it today but still the parts of the bed have not arrived in Trichy woraiur branch. I'm not satisfied with the service of M.S.S .I think Trichy hub doesn't follow proper loading and unloading schedule. If the loading and unloading lists were followed properly my booking would not have been delayed. Management should ensure that all employees at the Trichy hub follow proper work norms.

                I have booked a courier in 21.03.2023. It just a 100 Km. Already it took 3 days .
                Please let me know when will I get?

                  Worst parcel service I have ever seen. And worst customer support.
                  Transported bike from bangalore on 18/3/23 and received in erode on 22/3/23. Spent ₹1800 for transportation charges and now i need to spend another ₹3000 for the damages what they have did. They took 4 days to transport my bike and they broke indicators, number plate, clutch lever, danger visor, and break lever also. I asked them in erode branch and they said while they unload my bike there was already a damage and when they spoke to bangalore branch and informed me that, while they load my bike there was no damages and they were not sure how it was happened. After they were saying they will not be responsible for the damages as it is mentioned earlier. I agree to thier words but there may be a scratches or slight damage but not like these.

                  This is my worst experience i had with MSS. Instead of booking in parcel service if i booked in bus also, it wont get damaged like these. I have all the proofs and photos regarding the damages they made. Even they promised to deliver one day and they delayed.

                      07.01.2023 I booked percel from kalasipalayam (Bangalore) in mettur super service transport to chennai. Till now i didn't get my parcel and 5 days over till not loading. They put parking in chamrajpet branch. i call daily to kalasipalayam, chamrajpet, headoffice, chennai hub. "They said, wait sir, we are searching"..till now they are searching my parcel. This is not good delivery. Very very bad experience with MSS. So deliver my parcel immediately.

                        15.12.2022 my friend give the parcel to coimbatore city podhanur branch mettur super service transport. But 5 days over not loading my parcel in Podanur branch. Before loading i pay full cash.but mss transport collect the money and not loading the parcel.i call daily in Podanur m.s.s transport office but he is say today loading, today loading but not loading my parcel . This is not good delivery. Very very bad delivery. I want my parcel immediately. Please loading my parcel .

                          Very very worst parcel service and worst customer care In my parcel which came from Tirupur (pushpa theatre) to Coimbatore (Malumichampatti) is having hole in the bundle and 6 products missing, . no one is taking responsibility for my loss, I am asking them for more than 10 days still no response from their side and the Manager of Tirupur branch is very very worst of all he's not capable for manager posting very worst person.

                                I have booked my parcel in Bangalore at (07.10.2022)Lr number 11797785 But till I not received my parcel (15.10.2022)I have called to dodlapur, [protected] pennya, [protected]kamrajpet and also to the manager banglore [protected] but no one is properly responding, daily they are saying today parcel will receive and not a proper response. This is the very worst behaviour of the staff. Last one week my production is stopped due to this parcel, Heavy loss for me. one of the worst behavior of staff.

                                  I bought some goods from kovilpatti by online and they send parcel to Arakkonam on Mettur Parcel service.
                                  It is a very small and light weight also, they charged me rs 440, this is very very very high for that.
                                  Arakkonam Mettur transport staff also shocked and told sir this is worth for rs 100 is maximum.

                                      Self have booked courier a dining table with 4 chairs from Salem to Chennai.

                                      MSS charged the amount for packing as well, but while taking the delivery at Chennai Tambaram office, table has come without packing and one chair got broken fully.

                                      While asking for the damages they are not giving any proper answer and not given any damage charges as well.

                                      Very worst service
                                      Not recommended for utilisation
                                      General public like me should not get affected.

                                      i have booked parcel from bangalore from madurai .our party booked our name bit they mss booked on vilupuram mss transport on 30.9.2022.we are infrom that pacel was in vilupuram pls book again to madurai till date 07.10.2022 they not booked the parcel i have caled so many times they not responceing here after i wont book the parcel on mss .here madurai mss service also no responding the cal regularly we calling 10 time then only attenting the cal pls clear the complain .takecre o[censored]r future service

                                        24th i booked the materials to tenkasi ( Shenkottai) from walltax road G.C 11620182 till my client not receive this materials past 3days we are trying to get materials but no person to proper response the materials was lying in Kakkalur hub why they are not sending I dnt know, the bill value was 70k and now my client was refuse to take material he tell he will buy there itsel[censored] take it return and i can't take this return again, I also taken the material from market and they will not take return now who will pay the money and i talked also today evening this number [protected] and she said today it will dispatch like that pls coordinate with ur people and send this today night itself tomorrow customer will not except this material and i give u my client number kindly u talk to him for ur side apologies and make sure convince him to take the material his name Dinesh - [protected]
