Hi team,

In the recent days we have been horribly experiencing with mi service center and mi customer care. We bought a redmi note 5 pro on 14th april 2018 in mi show room at velacherry, chennai and starting facing automatic rebooting issue on 25th may 2018. Initially my mobile got switched off and unable to switch on. 26th may it got automatically switched on and hereon, my mobile were rebooting automatically.

We have reached out mi service center located at velachery on 26th may and technician informed us that water got inside the phone & service will not cover the warranty and asked us to pay amount. When we were checking about the estimation the technician has no clue what would cost to fix the problem and i have taken back my mobile from the service center where my mobile remains with the mi service center. Reached out customer care over phone and conference with the mi service center. Within an hour we got the call from service center and informed us that the issue got fixed and we will come across same issue in future as well.

We have immediately wrote an email to "service.[protected]@xiaomi.com". This is worst of customer service i ever come across. One of the customer support executive name: mohammed who has not even gone through the email and it seems simply copy pasted the so called standard template and sent us as a suggestion to visit the service center. This clearly shows just for a name shake mi xiamoi is running the customer support who is not even pay attention to details which makes us frustrating. Though customer care are providing definite solution, but still i am giving my best and reaching out them to get to know the status of the defective mobile for the last one week.

Couple of days before got an call from service center and it was informed that mother board got scratched and asked us to pay rs 9000 to replace it. Upon reached out the customer care and again got the call from service center asked us to ignore the earlier estimation.

We strongly believe it could be either mi xiaomi is selling defective product by default and earning another source of income by means of the so called mi authorized service center or mi xiaomi is selling genuine product but i might have received a defective one.

This forum will help us to address our grievance and hope we will get a new mobile and dont want this defective mobile fixed. Moreover customer care and the service center are useless and i am totally lost my good will about mi xiaomi. I need a new mobile as a replacement for this defective one.

We are pathetically frustrated with the response for our defective mobile from mi xiaomi customer care response, service center. This time mi xiaomi made us unhappy though we invested rs 17000 received only defective mobile and not providing any solution so far.

Subject line contains the customer care ticket no and center center ticket no.
