I am a customer of POCO and own a POCO F4 5G smartphone, purchased with a valid manufacturer warranty.

Recently, the bottom half of my screen stopped working. I submitted my phone at the Mi Service Center – Infotel, Kolkata, West Bengal.

The service staff refused to provide warranty support, stating that the device had:

Dear Xiaomi India,

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint about the extremely poor service and unprofessional behavior I have encountered at your service center. Despite my repeated attempts to get my phone repaired, I have been continuously ignored, delayed, and subjected to unprofessional conduct by your staff. Below is a detailed account of my experience.

Initial Visit (Sunday and Monday)
On Sunday night, my phone switched off due to a drained battery. I visited your service center the next day, and upon arriving, the technician greeted me with a sarcastic smile when I politely greeted him. On this visit, there was another customer present, and we both had the same model of phone in different colors (mine was white, his was black). When it became apparent that neither o[censored]s were interested in the technician's offer, he disappeared to the back and eventually told me bluntly that my phone wasn’t charging.

I explained that two days earlier, I had been in an accident and that the battery likely drained as a result. The technician then instructed his junior to bring him a 6-ampere cable, supposedly the only one compatible with my phone. However, despite this, he did not conduct any proper Quality Check (QC) on my device. He explained that since my phone was on EMI, a proper QC could not be done, which I found unacceptable. I was left waiting from 4:30 PM until 6:10 PM, only after repeatedly requesting the staff to collect my phone. To add to my frustration, I witnessed a staff member arguing with another customer who eventually had to threaten them with a consumer court complaint to get service.

After paying over ₹8, 000, this was my first time experiencing such a disappointing level of service. If there are any voice recordings available from your CCTV cameras, they can be used to verify my complaint and find out the truth. I am confident in my memory, and as someone working in the US healthcare industry, I rely on my attention to detail every day.

Follow-up Visit (Monday, 07/10/2024)
I returned to the service center on Monday. This time, the technician collected my phone without delay but stated falsely that the motherboard was damaged. When I challenged this, he still printed an old slip and asked me to return the next day, assuring me that he would do the best he could to resolve the issue. Despite his promises, I was not confident given the service I had already received.

Ignored Calls and Unprofessional Conduct
On Tuesday, after returning from my relatives' place in Meerut, I called the service center at 5:00 PM. A staff member picked up the call but sounded unsure and promised to call me back within five minutes. No call came. I called again at 5:30 PM, and a male staff member answered. He asked for details about the phone, checked with others at the service center, and again promised a call within 20-25 minutes. Again, no response.

Between 6:20 PM and 6:40 PM, I made two more calls, each time with the same empty promises but no resolution. Over the past five days, I have made multiple attempts to get in touch with the service center, only for my calls to be ignored or answered after 5, 8, or even 10 attempts. When they finally do pick up, the attitude is shockingly dismissive and unprofessional. I was even told, "If you need it done early, you can complain to the consumer forum; it's your choice," when I tried to emphasize the urgency of my request.

I find this treatment appalling. It is unprofessional to make customers feel neglected and unimportant, especially after spending so much time and money. I have no intention of paying any more for repairs or services. I simply expect my phone to be returned to me in working condition, as promised. If this issue is not resolved immediately, I will be forced to pursue legal action and file a formal complaint with the consumer forum.

It is clear that the service center is prioritizing its revenue and incentives over customer satisfaction, and this kind of treatment cannot continue unchecked. I expect a prompt and satisfactory resolution without any further delays or excuses.

    I have purchased a 43 inch Xiomi LED TV X series 4k ultra HD smart Google tv, model no. L43M8-A2IN, on dated[protected] through online at Amazon (copy enclosed) but after one month, this tv has screen colour problem, this tv right side corner black out in video. I have done many complaint than 23 September 2024, your company man pick my tv and now when I called to customer service they give me different different dates to delivery of tv at my residence. Today I called at Noida sector 6 service center on mobile no.[protected] and she told me that tv was repaired 3 days ago but they do not deliver bcos delivery boy not go Delhi route and they all are giving me different dates on my every call. Pls resolve my problem and send my tv back to my residence address.

      Poco X2 motherboard issue

      My POCO X2 phone was not starting after update so I went to Xiaomi head office service centre for getting it checked and the service centre folk said it's mother board is dead due to software update and it will cost me around 8k.
      He informed that we suggest our users not to install latest updates once the phone is 2 years old.
      Very irresponsible action by both Xiaomi, it's subsidiary Poco and their service centre...

        Order placed and payment made on 21st July 2024. There was OTP issues during delivery time, which i have intimated to their customer care and requested to change the number for OTP for which they can do verification as they want.

        They mentioned it cannot be possible which is why product was returned without delivery. Then i place and new order, made a fresh payment, got the order delivered.

        Now for the returned order, even after multiple follow ups they are not refunding my money back. In addition to this they are not even giving me date by which they will process. Its already been more than 20 days.

        When i try to talk with customer service they do not have any idea for the refund processing, they just give the pre-defined copy paste replies. I have not seen such pathetic customer service till date and hope won't see in future as well.

          I have ordered, Earphones, Order no. [protected], on 27/07/2024, which was to be deliver by 31/07/2024, but not delivered. I raised complaint for it on 01/08/02024, and Xiaomi promised me to deliver it by 05/08/2024 positively, but Xiaomi again failed in its commitment. I again complained on 06/08/2024 for the same. Xiaomi again promised me to update on this but no update given. I again complaint on web page and promised for resolve it by 09/08/2024. After that I register my voice on Grievance - Three Level Escalation Matrix page with Grievance request with token number G[protected] on August 07, 2024, at 10:50:04 IST. After that my order number [protected], Mi Earphones Basic (with in-built mic) Black, was delivered on 07/08/2024, and it was faulty and not working. I again register my complaint on service portal where I was advised to visit to service center for replacement with prior booking appointment. I done the same, service token number was M8064489 for 09/08/2024 between 10:am to 12:00pm. I taken off form my work and visited to service center but they have not attended my complaint and told me that our timing is start form 10:30am. At 10:30 they register my service order and gave me service order slip and in formed me that it will be replaced but no committed date is on slip. They verbal saying that it may take from 3 to 4 days. Parallelly I received my Grievance request with token number G[protected] was closed. Service center is saying to visit again to check status, which will need again take me off from my work. They have MI store in their nearby, they can arrange immediate it from there, but not doing. I am very disappointed. All e-shopping sites providing solution in very fast manner at home only without visiting anywhere. But Xiaomi making joke with customers without taking care of their time. I need correct product or my money back as soon as possible. I am wasting my time in this since last 15days.

            I am writing to express my concern and disappointment regarding the service experience with my Xiaomi 55-inch LED TV, I purchased Tv in 2019. Recently, the TV speakers have stopped working. When I reached out to the Xiaomi service team, I was informed that the model is no longer in production and that spare parts are not available.

            As a customer, I am dismayed by the lack of availability of parts for a product that is only five years old. I did not expect that my investment in a Xiaomi product would be rendered practically unusable within such a short period due to a lack of support for spare parts. This situation is particularly frustrating as it seems to leave me with no viable options for repair or replacement.

              I have purchased Redmi 12 5G phone which was delivered on[protected].

              After using few days I found below issues:
              1. IMP: Phone Lags a lot (screenshots video attached)
              2. Battery take more than 3 hours to charge & drains in 1 day of normal use.
              3. Application installed take 3-4sec to open, eg. settings, camera, dialers.
              4. Sound is very low while talking/ speaker (max volume)
              5. Found once/twice phone gets reboot automatically.
              6. Touch screen doesn't works in 1st instance, we need to touch 3-4 times or harder to operate.

              For fixing this above issues I visited MI Service Center on 24th June Pincode: 411009 (Universal Enterprise at Pune Swargate)
              The executive there are very rude and are not co-operative, They suspect the software issue and asked me to keep the phone for fixes under acknowledgement number WXMI[protected]Also service record attached).

              They return me my handset on the other day.

              I have check whether phone is fixed, but to my notice it wasn't, infact to restore backup its taking more than 6hours. (I have skip backup).
              Also above said issue was still persisting.

              Again I went service center taking the appointment M7868026, but they simply deny fixing my handset & said phone is fine and its normal. I asked to give this in writing that phone is tested OK, but they have no answers.

              I have again raised WOIM[protected] from Customer Care to escalate further.
              However there is still no updates.

              I need to fix my phone ASAP or else I need refund / replacement.

              My all the tickets are getting closed without any resolution.

                The grievance was emailed to xiaomi but no redressal receive drop them.

                4. This brings suspicion, this one to be refurbished.

                6. Do not tell me to visit your service centre as being a senior citizen 70 years old, I cannot make a visit your service centre.
                7. Also, this product of redmi note 13 claims to have 108 MP main camera but surprise eggly any picture taken with this mobile only shows 12 MP. Why? So is it a false claim to make people fool? Shall I have to take such cheating to YouTube?

                  Sir, I have purchased through my son Redme watch 2 lite on 08.07.2023 along with one more smart watch from Mi store in Brookfiled, Coimbatore.
                  The manufacture date as mentioned in the Box was April, 2022.
                  However, the watch strap has manufacturing defect and with in a year of purchase, got torn and strap came off from the watch and I am unable to use the same.
                  I searched locally here for the watch strap and is not available...

                    I had ordered Redmi 12 5G for INR 11058 on 8th April 2024 with Order ID OD[protected] from Flipkart. I received the product on 10th April. The delivered product is a defective one. Now Flipkart is denying for replacement and so the service centre. Flipkart is sending me to service centre for replacement and I have visited service centre but they denied the replacement and asked me to connect with Flipkart for the same. I again contacted with Flipkart customer support but they are denying replacement and again asking me to visit the service centre. The service centre is very far away from my place. I have already visited and faced rejection at the service centre. I want to get it replaced as soon as possible or I want to return the product so that I could get refund for the same.

                      Purchased mobile from Amazon, Facing frequent signal loss and will not resolve until reboot. Every day need to reboot 5 to 6 times. Missing many calls due to this issue. Raised complaint, went to service center. They updated software but issue still remains. Now when i raise grievance cases.. they are simply closing the cases saying go and contact service center. No proper response. Grievance is telling to contact amazon for shipping this product.

                        My Redmi phone's front panel was damaged, as it fell on the floor at home. I got the entire panel replaced from the Xiaomi service center in Kalkaji, New Delhi on 9 January 2024. I paid Rs. 5, 166.04 for the part. Within a month (on 15 February), the phone went blank. The service center now told me that the motherboard of the phone was broken and it would cost another Rs.7, 467.04 to replace the motherboard. I have been using mobile phones for over 20 years and never had a motherboard going bad.
                        Prima facie it appears that the engineer while replacing the front panel had damaged the motherboard in some way, that within a month, the phone was blank. This is a case of poor workmanship. The company needs to replace the motherboard at no cost.
