I am a very old customer of your company, I have full faith in your company, in view of this belief, I changed the tires of my car last year and got your company's new tires for 5 years warranty, now one of the tires cracks on its own. Gone, whose complaint[protected]I have got through the dealer, please give approval for replacement of this tire immediately.

I received message from your portal that my claim is not acceptable &it is outside the purview your warranty replacement.

I would like to highlight that such severe with damage has occurred within 3days of installation. In this scenario only manufacturing defect is the only possibility.

Considering above Please replace the tyre under warranty.

Dear Michelin team,
Its been a highly painful experience being a Michelin customer.Trusting with the brand name and the quality you offer in the International Market i bought 4 tyres of Michelin almost 1.3 years back.The tyre was brought from Trivandrum, Kerala.The name of the dealer was Travancore Tyres/Travancore wheel club.I have spend close to Rs.43000 for the tyres as per the claim that these are premium tyres and provide high durability.

Hardly My Vehicle ran 13000 Kms from the date of purchase of the new tyres, to my surprise one of the tyres developed a crack on the side.This has come to my notice when the tyre air pressure was getting checked .The crack was expanding and seems to be highly dangerous.I visited the dealer 0n 9/9 /2021 at 11am and after checking the tyres, the shop manager (a lady) has informed me that it was an expanding and volatile crack and to my luck the crack has not penetrated deep and so the air was not getting leaked. Multiple photos of the tyre was taken and they have retained the tyre at the dealers outlet and the vehicle was fitted with a stepney tyre which is the 5 year old Appollo tyre-which ran very low Kms.I was told that with in 1 working day(by 10th) the replacement /warranty coverage details will be confirmed and i can get a new tyre.

I also informed the vendor that being Covid time the entire family is moving on this vehicle and it would be a great help if it can be serviced at the earliest.She assured me the best possible option at the earliest.
I called the dealer on Friday 10th evening and to my surprise she told me that the Michelin Area Manager has not yet responded and they are awaiting for his response. I again tried on Saturday-11th September and she told that no solution has been provided by Michelin Area Manager.I again called the office on Monday(13th September) which is almost 4 days after, understanding the situation and since there was no other way she had given the number of the Area manager and the name of the person is Shibin-Mobile no-[protected].I called the area manager at 2.13 Pm on13th September and he informed that my query is still under process. he also informed that to his knowledge i will get maximum of 25% refund .I was completely shocked and surprised by the statement of the Area Manager and i felt that as a customer i was getting cheated as the product is still under warranty period.Based on the discussion he promised me to reconsider the best possible option and asked me to wait.
By evening 5.30 Pm on 13th September i got a message from VK-MICHE stating that the tyre details has been received and the case number is 02454961.From the message i have realized that the complaint has been registered then only and all these days my valuable time was wasted and i was being given false assurances.
As a customer understand my situation i made a claim on Thursday 20 th of September at 11Am and iam getting a response almost after 5 days and that too after rigorous follow up.Team-Kindly remember that the product we are dealing here is Tyres and not mobile phones where in the replacement/serviceability should be done urgently as its a life threatening one.

On Wednesday -15th September nearly after 2 days i waited for the call of the Area manger but i didnt get any response.By evening 6pm i made a call to him and he bluntly told that the claim has been settled and the maximum refund possible is rs.3540 which is approximately 20-25%The second statement was that Michelin has stopped importing the particular brand of tyre to India and using the money its better that i buy other brands like Bridgestone.I was shocked by his statement and i again asked whether he is a dealer or an employee of Michelin itself.I also requested him whether any mail or SMS response can be provided .He told that my mail id [protected]@gmail.com has been updated wrongly in the system and he promised to get the details corrected and provide the same the very next day morning -thats 16th.

By 16th evening since i didnt get any response i called him but the call was not answered.I have send him whats app messages since i didnt get any response i called up the customer care number and spoke to Mr.Santhosh.He was patient enough to listen to my queries and was very helpful.This was the only happy moment i had with Michelin as far as customer relationship is considered.He told me that i will be getting a call back from the technical team and the area manager .he has also told me that the name of the Area Manage is Mohammed and not Shibin I.I was again caught by surprise and as i was calling the Area manager by the name Shibin all these days.
After 15 Mins Santhosh again called me and informed that Mr.Mohammed alias Shebin is extremely busy and thats the reason why he could not attend the call.Mean while i got reply to my whats app message from Shibin that the there is Technical issue and thats the reason for not responding so far.( I have voice recordings of all the calls and iam ready to share up on request)

By 5.50Pm today i got a mail from Mohammed stating that the claim is outside the scope of warranty and the crack has been caused not because of any design failure or manufacturing defect. and as a good will Michelinn is refunding Rs.3477.Evening i got a call at 8.30pm in the night which i didnt pick up.

This is absolutely a case of cheating the customer and how can you confirm that the crack was developed not because of manufacturing defect by only seeing the photos of the tyre and not even analyzing the product.As claimed by the Call center Team iam yet to get any calls from your Technical team..and the waiting continues.
Hardly it has ran 13000 Km and such a durable tyre(as per your claim) has developed a crack with in 1.2 years.Even if i want to purchase the tyre your employee is telling that such a category of tyre is not being sold by Michelin in India any more.What should i do??All these days i was made to run around Pillar to post with out any proper response.
My kid, my wife and my aged parents are regularly travelling in the car and considering the Covid situation we use the vehicle for long distance travel.I cant even imagine what would have been the situation if the tyre has bursted mid away .Myself and my family's life was at stake all these days.
By default the My vehicle was loaded with Appollo tyres and it was providing excellent comfort, quality and assurance.Never had an issue with the tyres.I trusted the Brand Michelin an as a customer i was treated very badly at all stages .Whats the guarantee that the other tyres wont rupture during the normal course.
I demand a compensation and explanation for wasting my precious time and also i demand 100% refund of the amount or replacement of the tyre free of cost.

I bought 4 tyres of michelin 215/55/17 for my car on 29th Aug 2021 and ran it for 400 kms before it burst and got damaged the tyre beyond repair on 10 sep, 2021.

how can a tyre burst with in first 10 days of running. that too on city roads?

i have raised the complaint no 02453624 as well but strangely they have rejected it...so much to a customer who buys premium tyres and be robbed..

michelin india - pls replace the tyres. its a case of genuine manufacturing defect...

I was purchase two tyres from michelin dealer before ome year, tyres is in under warranty.

One tyre damage on road..

I have been shofted from mrf to michelien because of its grip expecially .but is slipping in my ramp and also if nominal water is presnt on the road . I have skidded with my vehicle trice . With 300 kms of drive with this tires . Hence i just want my money back as these tires are life taking back from our families. Plesse don't sell such kind of tires i the market .

I bought new tyers of your company brand but they got many cracks on it. I was surprised to see this and thing was all the four tyers got the same issues on time. I don’t know what happened to those typers but i request you that please inspect this. And those are not even run much. It would be probably 15000 KM ONLY. If your company tyers get damaged in 15k KM then what the use to spend this much money for one Tyer. Better we can move for cheap rate companies and fit it. Because spending this much and getting this kind of issues and again spending the same for it would be waste of time and money as well.
I hope you come inspect those tyers soo you can grade your quality and name frame in market.

Good evening!

I want to attract you kind attention regarding the manufacturing defects in product which I have purchased a M/C Tyre from below tyre shop at Cuttack.

Details of the shop is:-TRIDEV TYRE, MANGALABAG, CUTTACK, ODISHA. For reference find the attached photograph of Shop.

I want to inform you that I have purchased one Michelin Motor cycle rear tyre from the above shop. In my conception Michelin is a premium brand in tyre industry so I don’t keep the purchase invoice with me for time being. But on going time the bobble defect in tyre came out. Due to lockdown in Odisha I am unable to visit the shop immediately. Today when I was visited the shop the person sitting in the shop deny to understand the issues until unless purchase invoice will not showing to him. His behaviour was very arrogant rough not customer centric. He is arguing with me deny to help me out in this regard.

So Mischelin like a premium brand loseing its reputation in market if we peoples are feeling cheated by the above shop I am requesting you to take care of this issue and shouted out ASAP.

I replaced all my old 4 Machelin Tyres with new 4 Machelin Tyres on 17th Nov’ 2019. One of the tyre got punctured during end of May and got fixed but small air bubbles are coming out and tyre is losing the air gradually and hence suspecting some defect in the tyre and looking for replacement. I went to the dealer and as per his instructions left the tyre at the dealer 4 weeks back. After multiple reminders SAI RAM WHEELS WORLD (Chanda Nagar, Hyderabad) dealer registered complaint with case number 02324262. Michelin POC without inspecting physically closed the case by stating tyre can't qualify for the replacement. Both Michelin POC or Dealer didn't give me any resolution on the tyre. This is first puncture and now I am worried about remaining 3 tyres as well as with one single puncture, I will have to replace the tyres going forward. This tyre must have travelled less than 4000 km till date due to COVID pandemic. As I am great Michelin tyre fan and also recommend my brother to go for Michelin over and above Bridgestone tyre for his Car, expecting replacement tyre at the earliest with your help.

I bought michelin 4 tyres for my car and after 40 thosand drive i feel problem of noise in my car when i got checked i found that inner side of all tyres damaged despite i got sevice on time now i feel this problem so please solve my problem for your company best reputation

My Michelin tyre inflator is not working and product is under warranty

I bought a tyre for wego bike on 22.3.2021, the dealer told me it has life time warranty for all manufacturing defects . Today I was about to met with an accident due to problem in that tyre .while riding the total bike went out of control, it is due to the beeding fault mechanic said
It was shocking for me how a fault can occur in just 21 days . That too such a serious fault . I went to the dealer and asked for the replacement, he shouted at me and behaved rude .

All I asked him is replacement for the fault product .
Kindly take necessary action against the dealer who sold faults products on your brand name, also replace my product since I bought it from your recognized dealer .

The reply submitted by your CRM in reference to above noted case ID is Vague and befooling me being a customer as fallow:

1. Aggressive driving: The detailed vehicle is four wheeler consisting of four tyres how can I show my aggression on one of the tyre only is there any logic behind your this reply. Vehicle has been driven very smoothly and I do not accept this point

2. How come you can say inflation pressure I kept low for one tyre to get claim from your company is it possible to drive with lesser tyre pressure. Moreover I am driving the car from last more than 25 years and I am an advocate by profession, legally the claim report submitted by you is totally baseless and befooling the customer.

What so ever defect has occurred in one of the tyre is purely due to manufacturing bug.

So before filling the litigation in the court of law I want to give you a chance to send some technical person to enquire the problem and get it resolved immediately

Bough 4 Michelin energy tyres in 2018 @ 50, 000 km reading of Honda Brio car.now meter reading is 77000 km(I e., 27000 km running) Hyderabad city drive (self driving vehicle).
Now tyres condition "chipping" on tyres surface and seems to be of no more life.3 years not been completed.

Today I visited at Malout punjab for purchasing of new tyres for my car with “Kalra tyres GT Road Malout “ . They demands for Rs. 9100 per tyre of 16 number RIM for 1-20 car they final deal with me to provide fresh tyre but when Kalra’s provide me 4 tyres then I saw all 4 tyres was manufactured in July 2019 . I really shocked such dealers are providing false and fake warranties to customers of old manufacturing. I also observed that they are also selling duplicate tyres in market . Such things are creating questions on company’s reputation . When I asked from them about false warranty both owners has shouted me and create a scene against me which was shameful for me so that I have raised the complaint against dealer . I requested you to pls take strict action against such dealer

My tyre get bulged after riding 10000 km
and have give the tyre for warranty purpose since its one and a half month there is no respond from the dealer and when am calling them they are not picking the phone my tyre is michelin sports. Yesterday when i got to the dealer the are saying that they want the money of 35 percentage ie i have buy this tyre 1 yrs before and have ride a km of 10000 then how it come sir 35 %. At that time i have buy that tyre for 1600 now they are saying that ihave buyed that tyre for 1900 and 1900 rs 35% money i want to give them then only they are saying that they will give the tyre the rate is 665 the shop is in kerela can you tell what amount i want to paid

My claim for tyre cut were not been passed. I want to know the reason for not passing my claim when the tyre is in warranty. My claim no.isCLMH[protected]
