Dear customer, thank you for contacting michelin india helpdesk. Please visit our dealer devsons automotives pvt. Ltd. To get your tyre inspected. Your case reference number is clhr[protected]. Regards michelin india.
Above is the sms which i received from michellin india customer care after my first contact on 26th july after i noted a 2 mm thick almost around 1 and half inch long and an inch wider tearing out of my right side tyre. This is a michelin tyre bought just over one and half months back from your dealer devsons gurgaon for my skoda rapid. I bought 2 tyres for which i have the bill, after dealer recommended the tyre. I refuted all warnings from my friends about michelin not meeting durability standards for indian road ecosystem, and relatively soft. But i was proven wrong for my decision. Despite of well aligned wheels, the bruise was so long and deep that it validates general opinion.
I had also contacted the dealer on the same day, immediately i noticed the damage. He simply told that this is not a manufacturing defect and is not covered under warranty and surprisingly, further insisted to cover it up with an adhesive. Is that what, i bought the tyre for. I refused and he said he will arrange for engineer's visit.
I am still hopeful of michelin as a claimed leader to replace this tyre, whether its a manfuacturing defect. Its a material defect per se.
Michelin seriously needs to improvise its quality for tyres sold in indian market and should immediately replace the tyre. Was this information helpful? |
application simply does not support entering entering type of Customer contact Number in any format and thus not allowing submission of any grievance on their portal. How callous a company can be, an example. They take Indian system for granted.
I bet you try any format, the system will not accept it as a valid input
