I bought new tyre on dt 20/06/19 and i drove 24000 km. Within this period the top most bearing surface tearing off . I complaint it to the dealer from whom the tyre was purchased i.e Batra Auto Centre, Sector-32, Chandigarh. They respond that it is normal thing in Michelin tyres that their bearing surface teared usually. It is irresponsible answer i got from owner. They offer good discount in response of purchasing new tyre again, in lieu of my complaint. I used tyre come up with my car, i drove 92000 km but didn't face such problem till i replaced with new one with Michelin. Please check the enclosed pics and resolve issue. If it is usual thing in Michelin tyres then i would not use these tyre again.

Hi, I Have purchased Michelin 4 tyres 6 months back for my Honda city from S S corporation, Ahmedabad. After using the same for around 3 months and max 2500 km on the tyre got deflated and when i got the same inspected, puncture repairing person told me that there is no puncture but there is manufacturing fault and hence there is small hole on side thread, - you should get it replaced.
when i contacted owner of S S Corp from where i bought the tyre, he reverted me very casually saying this is not manufacturing fault and nothing will happen even if i raise the complaint to company so better you get it repaired. so i got the same repaired by paying 300 rs to him where they have put a patch inside the tyre.
again after some time (around June 1st week) same tyre had the same issue, this time hole on the side thread wall but in the inner side of tyre wall.
this time i was bit worried as i this raised concerned about the quality of tyre and personal safely on highway driving.
i again immediately contacted owner of SS corp who again said the same thing, that nothing can be done in this and even if i raise the complaint, nothing will happen. though i insisted him to raise the complaint and get me the report.
to my surprise, the response what i got was - very casual and similar to what i was told - this is not manu. fault and its injury due to some sharp object... but how come?? there was no accident... this time hole was even on inner side which is totally not exposed...
i keep asking the reason but now this guy (SS Corp) was in confidence - " vo hi aya na jo maine aap ko bola tha" .
i told him( S S Corp) to share his observation on his letter head when he examined the tyre both the time and given reminder for 5 times but still no response.
then i contacted Michelin sales person - Mr Jaymit who after hearing my side, assured me to come back after checking the incidence.
i was having some hope - but no reply since 10 days again made me to contact him and interestingly his reply was " i am trying to get the case report from S S corp since last few days but i am not able to get the same even after reminders" - i had to help company person with their company's case report - how strange... that moment i realized that i am not to get any resolution from this guy and supporting to my thought he has shared me the same comments whish was mentioned in the report - how ridiculous.. is that you was waiting for since 10 days to reply..

i have paid premium to michelin when i chosen the same over other brands and this is not certainly i was looking for...
pl help me to get the replacement of this faulty one

I am writing this letter to bring to your notice a very crucial issue that needs your attention as a matter .
I drive TATA Tiago and I recently got 2 sets of new tyres of Michelin from a local dealer for it.

Its been a highly painful experience being a Michelin customer.Trusting with the brand name and the quality you offer in the International Market i bought 2 tyres of Michelin 15 june 2021 Less than one year back.The tyre was brought from Sanganr, Jaipur. The name of the dealer was Shyam Tyres .I have spend close to Rs.10800 for the tyres.
I used to buy Bridgestone tyres for my car but this time I decided to get Michelin tyres by getting impressed by your Tv commercial advertisement and one of the local tyre dealers as it says that we get...

in a year then one of the tyres got bursted on road, one of them at a speed of literally 20-30kmph this is ridiculous. I am totally shocked by the quality of the tyre used and the amount of risk it involves on the road provided the short duration in which this has happened.
I humbly request you to replace my tyre or update me on such quality issues that I have experienced. I am terrified by the experience and regret getting associated with this company.

I had purchased 4 - Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUV XL TL for my Volvo XC 60 from your authorised dealer in Kochi ( Global Tyres) for Rs. 56, 500. One of the tyres have developed a bulge and the same was reported to Global Tyres. They have forwarded the photos and bill details to Michelin but I have received an SMS that the tyre bulge is not covered under warranty. The tyres are still under warranty and being an SUV tyre, the fact that Michelin is not providing warranty for such damages due to poor manufacturing standards is pathetic. Please note that the car is driven only on highways, being a front wheel drive SUV. I hope the higher authorities in Michelin would take this up seriously and make arrangements for the replacement of the damaged tyre asap under warranty.

We purchase in last 4 years truck tyre size 1000*20 of michelin above qty 300 nos from dealer m/s bora tyres nashik.
In that which above 30 tyre send for claim we recd confirmation from michelin claim sanction but dealer not given any single claim which he received on our behalf from michelin.Hence we stop purchase tyre of michelin.

Please don't go for michelin tyre I brought 4 xm2+ and one of tyre side wall cracked in speed less than 20 km/hr, this company claims their tyre are better than other company, however these are utter waste to have side wall damage in just 2 months, cheaper tyre available in India are lot lot better. Tyre crackes after 3 months tyre purchased from ushus tyre ottupara thrissur kerala

Hi, am not getting proper support from Michelin, I observed that I have seen some manufacturing defects in the tyre and I called ip consumer helpline to support ad this may risk life of mine and people travel in Car due to this defect. Can you guys look into priority or else I have to move to consumer court as this is related to life of people travelling in vehicle and if there is any tyre burst. One sample Pics attached...

I bought michline bike tyre (sirac 3.18) from SHUBHAM TYRE from SURENDRANAGAR, they give me faulty tyre.

I had changed my back tyre on January 2021. It's only been 10 months and I got 9 punctures. This is low quality product. Please help me with this.

During journey from Chamba (Himachal Pradesh) to Pathankot (Punjab), near Shahpur Kandi my tyre (185/60R15 TL XM) got burst. I had purchased the tyre on 30/04/2018 from Rana Motor Cares, Ghurlu Pul, Sidhpur, Dharamshala with unconditional life time warranty.
I visited Rocky Tyre Pathankot to register my complaint about tyre. My case was registered but declined as there is no warranty for Tyre. Company showroom sold the tyre but told the lie that there is life time unconditional warranty. Kindly register my complaint and resolve my complaint at earliest.

I purchased 5 tyres from this dealer a few years ago and went back today for after-sales service.

I only needed to get on tyre valve checked because I have to drive my elderly mother to surgery early tomorrow morning and didn't want there to be any delay from a faulty tyre.
The owner made me wait 30 mins for a 1 minute check, citing low staff attendance.

I drive Toyota Innova Crysta and I recently got 2 sets of new tyres of Michelin from a local dealer for it
I used to buy Bridgestone tyres for my car but this time I decided to get Michelin tyres by getting impressed by your Tv commercial advertisement and one of the local tyre dealers as it says that we get a very smooth and cushioning performance from Michelin.
Recently 1 of the tyres went out of air suddenly and then when I saw it there was a crack on the side wall.
And again after somedays another tyre got crack on sidewall itself while I was travelling on the highway.
Spending so much money on the tyres for smooth performance instead of getting these types of problems isn’t affordable to me.
Therefore, it is requested to please notice this because this is life-threatening, and safety is our priority. Would you please see to this matter and respond to it.
I am looking forward to your cooperation. I shall be very thankful to you. Anxiously waiting for your prompt action.

I received message from your portal that my claim is not acceptable &it is outside the purview your warranty replacement.

I would like to highlight that such severe with damage has occurred within 3days of installation. In this scenario only manufacturing defect is the only possibility.

Considering above Please replace the tyre under warranty.
