Micromax — Defective product not replaced even after 2 years | |||
This is with reference to Job Sheet No. N[protected]. I deposited my Micromax X321 with M/S Shri Laxmi Enterprises Uttam Nagar, New Delhi on 7th November 2013 as it stopped working after a month of purchase. The person at the service center told me that I would receive a call from Micromax whenever my product would be repaired. I went to the service center numerous times, but was always told that my device was not repaired and it was 'in process'. After waiting for 2 whole months. I kept visiting the service center once every few weeks to inquire about my device, but I was assured that I would get a new device with 1 year warranty. More months passed, and every time, I went to the service center, I was assured by the service center personnel that I would receive a call from the company within 2 days. I never received a call . EVER! Eventually, I bought a new phone from a 'Reputed' brand, to cope up with the situation. So now, even after nearly 2 years, I'm yet to receive my device. I want to ask the people sitting at the Micromax Head Office, What the hell is wrong with you guys? You are taking customer's trust for granted? You are treating your customer as a worthless, no regard, no remorse? What is the point of setting up service centers, when you cannot even repair your products? What is the whole point of offering 'warranty against defects'? I will make sure that I don't patronize Micromax any more, for what's the point of patronizing an unethical entity? I'm completely disheartened with the response received from the company. I'm asking the company to refund the box price of the phone with 18% interest per annum, as I'm done with begging for a 'New Micromax Phone'. This my last attempt to contact anyone at Micromax. If the company will not acknowledge their mistakes, and provide me with a fair solution, I will be forced to file a lawsuit. I know it takes a long time here in India, but it doesn’t matter because, I have already waited almost 2 years, can definitely wait for a few more. But now, I will not give up on my hard earned money which has been looted by Micromax. I have been wronged, and I will fight for justice till the end of time. Just a heads up - I will be filing a lawsuit against the company if I don't get a favorable response within 2 working days. It's all up to you now. Paras Chowhan Contact Details.
