Go to services, then select (4) Data account, then select (2) GPRS then select any empth number or edit any existing :- (1) account name = AO, (2) APN = aircelweb, (3) User name= leave blank, (4) Password= leave blank, (5) Auth. type = Normal, (6) Primary DNS = leave as it is, (7) secondary DNS = leave as it is. Then go to services again and select (3) WAP select(8) Settings, (1) Select sim, then (2) Edit account again select SIM then select "AO" now you have done. Thanks

i'm facing the similar problem that it will not connect to PC
i've found out that istalldv64 which is there on the net or with the mobile pack CD is not compatible with win32 and it does not insatll so no connection with PC
hope micromax comes out with driver for win32

select Account 1 which is the blank account and click on Edit
and edit the following

Account name: Docomo gprs

APM TATA.DOCOMO.DIve.IN

USER NAME: leave this field blank

PASSWORD: leave this field blank

Auth Type: Normal

Primary DNS: leave this field blank

Secondary DNS: leave this field blank


After this go back to services and select WAP.

Go to settings in WAP.

Select SIM1 or SIM 2 which ever has the TATA Docomo sim.

After this select Edit Account and again select SIM1 or SIM 2
which ever has the TATA Docomo sim.

select a blank account which would be named Account 1.

Select Edit account and edit the following.

Account Name:DOCOMO_GPRS

homepage: divein.tatadocomo.com

click on Data Account and select GPRS, in the list select Docomo gprs
which was previously created.

Connections type: select WAP

Once you select WAP, type in the IP address as 010.124.094.007

Choose security as off, select Back and OK.

I am using the MM Q3 with Tata Docomo and BSNL, no prblem with BSNL but i am not able to make any out going calls from Docomo, Incoming Calls, messages and outgoing messages are working fine, but only problem is with outgoing calls where it states check operator services, when i spoke to customer service @ Karnataka, they said Docomo sims are not compatible with Micromax, all china hand sets and some basic nokia phones, so this may be the reason why most of them are not able to access GPRS through Docomo.

i have purchase micromax x511 but feature are ok but the gprs function is not working is there any setting for this mobile if not kindly take back this mobile ... in gprs page is not opeing but the money is cutting if there is any settings kindly send me or otherwise iam taking legal action to this company

I recently bought the MM Q3 EZPAD, It looks good with minimal feature. So its value for money. However there is little drawback in configuration that one has to understand. Actually if manufacturer is providing some feature on cell phone its should be universal but in this Handset, It is not like that.

It has good FM audio quality and Considerable digital Camera without Zooming option. Opera takes time to load but works good on GPRS / WAP. I am using Idea! services I am able to sync my PC and get the internet connection very quickly through USB or Bluetooth.

Only drawback is that, This handset allow us to configure the Email account that works on Port 25 and 110 or Any POP3 that does not need SSL authentication.

Since GMAIL needs Port 465 for POP and 995 SMTP, It needs SSL also. In this mobile set, You wont have any option to Enable SSL that is why we are not able to configure GMail on it. Now a days Rediff and Gmail are only service provider that give us Free POP access besides your own ISP. You cant even configure your work email address as it does not have Exchange Server option.

So company should stop making us fool out of it and at least add SSL option as well if Exchange is not possible in this cost.

I would rather advise to go for Nokia C3 (Qpad) if some one want less expensive phone with EMail configuration without bulky options.

Since This MMQ3 has inbuilt 32 MB memory and it full of Java Applications, It needs more space or memory to populate the Application quickly. In simple word, It is a good phone for basic users those who need it in less expensive cost. Otherwise it is Very SLOW in term of opening application. This goes to MM Q2 to Q7 (All Slow).

Despite that if consumer go for its basic functionality and normal Uses, This is definatly Unbeatable manufacturer in the market.

I am using micromax q3 cell from some time, and connect airtel gprs for internet. It's connect ony for day after i am unable to connect internet to my cell or my pc...i had launced a complain to Airtel service centre, but as per they look out into my account GPRS setting from there side is ok...so wat i do to connect internet on my cell pl guide me ...and sor out my problem...

all the complaints are due to users as these users don't know how to use this mobile i am using this mobile without any problem and using internet on my pc with airtel and aircel gprs.
