I am submting this complain with the hopes that it will be answered soon and some action will be taken on it.
I purchased Micromax Canvas 2.2 Model number A114 in May 2014, I did not came across any issues untill and unless in September its display went blank.
I submitted it to service station on September 20 and despite of being in warranty i was asked to pay for the expenses 3125 for the repairing of the phone.As it was water damage so i agreed to pay that amount confirming on the condition that phone will work fine after that repair and there will be no further issues in it.
There was no response from the service center for full one month and when i called them i was asked to collect my phone as it was ready.When i received my phone i realised that keypad was dead and home, back, options key was not working.
What kind of engineers or technicians a service station would be having when after keeping phone for full one and half month they cant even realise that keypad is dead and they give it back to customer saying that phone is ready????
anyhow when i asked service station guys to repair keypad they asked me to pay 1400 more in addition to 3125 amount.I argued them on this and then i was told by senior staffs that they will check with micromax company on this whether keypad repair can be covered under warranty.
PHONE IS STILL WITH THEM AND THERE IS NO RESPONSE UPTILL, THEY ARE STILL CHECKING WITH MICROMAX GUYS
FOR 10 DAYS..IS IT REALLY THIS TIME TO TAKE?????????
HONESTLY I HAVE LEAST HOPES LEFT WITH THAT PHONE CONSIDERING THE KIND OF RESPONSE AND ATTITUDE MICROMAX SERVICE STATION STAFFS COMES WITH, .
after the incidents which took place with me I would never recommend anyone to purchase Micromax phones or in any case buy it myself.. Was this information helpful? |
