I am writing this complaint from my daughter's account on this website. My name is santosh kumar banerjee. I had purchased a micromax canvas unite 4 plus, model - q427 from an authorised store in ranchi, jharkhand. From the very beginning the phone has been problematic and has shown signs of being a defective piece. The phone has a defective charger and data cable, the battery backup is not at all satisfactory, the jack for headphones is also defective. I have been facing sevaral problems due to these defects. When i took this matter to the micromax service centre, the person there gave me a new data cable and headphones after a week. But the data cable proved to be even more defective than the previous one and furthermore affected the phone's performance making it bad to worse. Now if i try to charge from the new data cable the phone dosen't even get charged or the charge decreases on charging. On complaining again, the person at the micromax service centre told me to submit my phone, to which i enquired the time which will be taken for repairs and they answered that they don't know and can't say how much time will be taken.
I am a senior citizen and the service centre is nearly 3-4 kms away from my residence. At this old age, it is getting really tough for me to handle all this chaos, travelling through public transport for servicing and getting harassed at your service centre just for the sake of a defective handset your company has given me. It takes 2-3 hours at the service centre that causes loss of my personal earning and health. Please replace this defective handset with a fresh and good condition handset of the same model with all accessories in working condition or compensate me for the loss, damage and harassment caused to me by the company and the service centre. If my complaint is not redressed within 15 days, it will be deemed that you are compelling me to take shelter of the state consumer forum for legal action. Was this information helpful? |
