I was a proud owner of Micromax Canvas 5. The point is that I am still it's owner but no longer a proud one.
I bought the mobile phone on 21- Jan -2016, in-spite of coming across many criticism about the quality and after sale services of Micromax, I thought that I should give it a try on the belief that A multi-billionaire company which has managed to attain the title of "second largest smart phone manufacture in India" must have improved it's quality.
I found that I had invested at the wrong place. It would have been better if I have selected a Micromax competitor phone like Lava, index. This is because with in 4 months of buying the product the display of the phone was not working properly due to some manufacturing defect as informed by the Micromax technicians placed at Nirman Vihar Micromax service station when I visited the same on June 10, 2016.
The service station team assured me that my phone will be repaired within 20 days. Post 14-15 days I got a call from Micromax service center stating that my phone will be replaced with a new one. On the date of delivery (24 June 2016), I was handed a new "Defected phone" in which there were scratches on the screen and sides of the phone. I really thought that it was a second hand phone. When I inquired about the same from the Micromax personnel, he informed me that the scratches have occurred when the phone was in-transit. Since the company do not pack the the replaced products properly. I was shocked to hear that.
I complained about this to the Center in-charge she told me that she will get the screen replaced by mentioning "front housing replacement" in the job sheet ( the technical terms used by her) and assured me that I will get my phone in a weeks time. I cooperated with her and resubmitted the phone.
After a week I received a call from service center and was asked to collect the phone This was my third visit to the service center. And this visit was nonetheless worse than the earlier two.
In-spite of visiting the Center for the third time (on July 02, 2016), I didn't get my phone because the phone had the same problem. This time I contacted the Center's manager, he said this was Micromax's mistake and asked me to write an email directly to the Company.
I really wonder that what is the need of Micromax service center if the user has to directly communicate to the company. Moreover, If I count, my phone is submitted from last 40 days. And I don't have any clue when I am going to receive my cell..
Is that's the reason why I bought Micromax mobile so that in the very first year of its purchase, I have to submit it to the company for more than a month.
Will I be able to receive my phone??
Do the Micromax sell mobile phone to harass its customers or to actually provide them a good quality product?
I am really disappointed and I don't know whether I will get a response from your site.

I am really looking forward to hear from your side and have a hope that I will get my phone in perfect condition . If you can do anything kindly take an immediate action otherwise I will never be a able to buy any other product of Micromax and will never recommend the same in my circle.
