Micromax Informatics — Repeated Screen issue not resolved during a Warranty Period | |||||
We are facing some repeated problem with Micro-max TV screen. We faced similar issue when TV was new and got replaced. Then same issue occurred during the end of May and the complaint was lodged. Service center took the TV and called us back saying TV's LED is damaged we need to replace it, it will cost 5500 rupees. Then i replied them saying i have the warranty. Then the Service center person called me again and asked for the invoice copy. After providing the invoice copy they didn't replace the LED strip they just did some patch up. Later in the month of August we faced the similar issue, similar kind of solution was provided we still had the warranty. During the end of October we faced same issue.Service center took the TV on November 4th 2016. and called us back after one month saying LED strip should be replaced and it will cost us 5500 rupees. Then i asked why wasn't it replaced during period of warranty, service center person replied saying we thought it will fix the issue. But now service center team is saying LED strip replacement is the complete fix you need to do it. If they had replaced this LED strip during the month of June we wouldn't have faced this problem again. I contacted the micro-max customer service and asked the above question, they replied me saying if service center technician says yes to replace we will allow to replace.Later i contacted service center person he said company didn't allow us to change. Due to this confusion i raised a call back senior executives/Technical team from Micro-max team, they called me back and said will call me after investigation but they didn't respond back. I registered similar complaints for a call back for more than four times no one is responding me. Sent an email on top of this.I'm not getting the proper response. Below are the complaint details: Recently I had lodged a complaint regarding a screen issue with Micromax TV. TV was with service for more than two weeks they said the same problem and asked to me 5500 rupees, but I said I have the warranty then service centre provided some solution without replacing the strip. Same problem was repeated again during July end where I had my warranty valid but still they didnt replace the LED strip. When I enquired about this they said company didn't permit us replace. After all these issues I had a call with Micromax customer support team they said me that if technician from service centre tells us we will do it. After all these confusions I requested for a call on Dec 05 but I got a call from Micromax team and later said they will contact service centre and contact me again, but till now no one contacted me. Below are the complaint details TV model: Micromax 50C4400FHD 124 cm LED TV, [IMEI/Serial No: 00022B[protected] 1. Dear Customer your reference no. KTR[protected] will be attended by our service centre CE - ONLINE SERVICES, MYSORE and [protected]. Regds, Micromax 2. Thanks for calling Micromax, your Reference No. is KTR[protected], soon you will receive a call from our Service Centre for scheduling an appointment. Regds, Micromax 3.Thanks for calling Micromax, your Reference No. is KTR[protected], soon you will receive a call from our Service Centre for scheduling an appointment. Regds, Micromax Customer support team also provided the request number for call from senior executives request number is MMX[protected]. I have attached the email response from Micromax team i'm getting the same response without addressing the queries requested. I had taken some help from consumer affairs support team and the docket number is 92939. Once informing service center with this docket number, service center person called us and told that company has asked to provide 50% discount.
