My name is Dr. Shraddha Gupta and I am from Mumbai. I purchased Micromax Canvas 4 in Nov 2013. From past 1 month I am going through terrible time. I had issue with network drop and calls were getting disconnected. I submitted my cellphone to Micromax Service Center on 4 Nov 2014. I have visited the service center (D G Telecom, Borivali West, Mumbai) 4 times only to be called after 1 week. Finally after lot of arguments I made them give me my cell back on 2nd Dec, 2014; since I had to travel abroad. However, the problem is still persisting and nothing has been done. I had even called on the Customer Care number on 19 Nov, 2014 4:11pm (Complain number: [protected] attended by Justin). But nothing was done further. I gave my cell on 4th Nov 2014 when my cell phone was in warranty. They kept the phone with them for a month and did nothing. I have been duped and cheated by the company, so that once my warranty period expires I will have to pay for the services. This is extremely unprofessional. Twice when I went to the service station, the cell phone was in their service station and they told me its done. I checked it in front of the staff and told them that the problem is still there; which they accepted and told me we will be sending it to Gurgaon. However, on my third visit it was still with them ad they told me its done and still the same issue. After a long heated argument I was told that this may take even 2 months. In today's era a company like Micromax can take such a long time for repairing the product. They have done this only to take money from the customer and fool them.
I am extremely disappointed with the service provided to us and the quality of Micromax handsets. Moreover, to add to our woes, the staff at service station is extremely rude and do not attend to the customer with any interest. I am a Doctor and do not like to be treated like this; only because our fault is we bought Micromax product. The staff even did not have courtesy to apologize for this indecent behaviour, that too when speaking to a lady in such a manner. I want to bring this to your notice so that somebody reads this and never buys their products. In addition when I called up at the service station before nobody attends to the phone call. I visited the office again to find a deserted phone at one corner, ringing and nobody attending to it. The Branch Manger Poonam Sharma was very rude in telling me that it was not her job and you are not the only customer. Can you beat that!!! Also, please arrange for a training session for Micromax employees on how to deal with customers and if they are so frustrated for working for a company like Micromax they better quit this job and look out for something which will give them happiness and not spoil anybody else's mood. As for my problem it still remain unresolved. Please do something in this aspect and get in touch with me on [protected]/[protected]@yahoo.co.in.Please let me know what action needs to be taken in this regard. I want my cell to be repaired or refund my money/replace my handset. Many thanks in advance.
