Micromax — Submitted my mobile for repair on 20th Jan 2015 and till now there is no resolution. Its under warranty also | |||
I stay in bangalore. I bought a micromax canvas 4 mobile on June 2nd, 2014. It worked properly for 7 months, then in January 2015 my mobile had a signal problem. I called the customer care and asked about the issue they asked me to show it in the micromax repair center, then i went to Marathahalli repair center and showed my mobile. They updated the software and gave me back the mobile it worked fine for that day and the next day it gave me the same problem. I took it back to the center and this time they asked me to submit the mobile to send it to company for repair. I was initially communicated that i will receive it within 40 days. After that there was no communication for 20 days. The i called the customer care [protected] and registered a complaint on 11th of February comp no.[protected], then the customer care executive said from 11th February onwards it will take 30 days to resolve the issue. I recalled the customer care on 1st March and asked about the status. Every time i call them they say we are taking this on priority and forwarding it to the concerned department, again he took it as a complaint and gave a new complaint number.[protected]. For a simple problem of signal issue its been two months i have been waiting for the mobile. I lost two months warranty. If it is so big problem then since the mobile is under warranty it would have been replaced. Its very disappointing that its been close to two months and don't know when it will be resolved. Micromax is coming up with good affordable mobiles in all price segments, which is very appreciable but after purchase service also should be improved. Please do the needful. Service is pathetic. I visited the micromax care center in marathahalli and the manager named Joseph was very irresponsible and was laughing at me when i was complaining. He dont know how to talk to customers also. There is no proper communication channel as such to inquire about the status of the mobile. When ever i call the customer care they say till its in progress 30 more days it will take from then on wards. Its been 3 months and till now no proper response.
