Hello sir/Ma’am,
My mother had booked a bedroom set from Mobel India pvt. ltd at siliguri, west bengal on 6th of august 2022. the total amount of the bill was Rs 1, 38, 000 and she had paid an advance of 20, 000. The manager told her that the furniture will be dispatched once full payment is made. After placing the order that night my mother returned to sikkim(our hometown). The furniture was to be delivered to sikkim. The very next day my mother fell severely ill and was diagnosed with dengue fever. She was in a very bad condition and we had to admit her to the hospital immediately. Her platelets level dropped and she was in ICU. We faced financial crisis after that. I called the manager of mobel furniture, siliguri Mr kuntal Sur and told him about my mother’s situation and how we will not be able to take the furniture anymore because of financial issue. We told him it would be very kind if he returns our advance. The manager was very rude and ill behaved and told me that the advance cannot be return even if my mother dies. He was so bad and rude and told that he wont return the money at any cost. I told him that this happened all of a sudden and unfortunately but he wasnt listening to any of my thing and told me he wont return a single penny.
We would obviously take the furniture but my mother getting so ill wasnt in our control.
The manager was very very arrogant.
My mother is a single mom and she earns to run our family . She is bed ridden right now and i am a student. How could he not understand such a bad situation. For him the furniture was more imp than my mother’s life.
This is how you big companies deal with their innocent customers?
Please help me sir
Please return my advance becuase we are facing finacial crisis right now.
