I wish to bring to your notice, a fraud transaction which took place yesterday, 20.06.2015, using my mother's debit card. She got a call from the number [protected]. The person claimed that he was calling from the SBI n told his name was Ravi Kumar, branch manager, and that my mother's ATM card will be blocked within two days. He asked for the debit card number and then one time password. As my mother does not have much knowledge about the internet banking process, she easily gave the information. As soon as the call was over, she got an sms from the bank, stating that a transaction of Rs 5000 on POS, [protected] at www. mobikwik.com was made from her card. She was quick enough to get the card blocked . I have sent a mail to the back end department of mobikwik.com which handles all fraud complaints ([protected]@mobikwik.com), but haven't received a reply yet. What should I do so that it could be tracked early and hopefully the transaction could be aborted at an earlier stage.Could anyone suggest a better approach which will help me in getting back my money. My phone no. is [protected].Please help me out asap. Was this information helpful? |
