Mobikwik — Mobikwik not honouring microsoft lum300 offer | |||
I had purchased a Microsoft Lumia phone. While buying, Microsoft and Mobikwik advertised their offer of Cash back every month for 12months of INR 300 on adding wallet balance of INR 300. I got the said offer for the first 3months with continuous issues on Mobikwik’s side with respect to the code. They also gave me temporary code for a month and manually added the cash back for another month. Now, they asked me to add the minimum amount for the cash back and said that there are having issue with the code and would manually add it, however after adding the amount, now Mobikwik is refusing to honor the code and the Customer care representatives only keep pasting the Terms and conditions in the Ticket that states the below: “Namaste! We understand that you are unable to use Promo Code LUM300. Apologies for the inconvenience. As part of our security measures, we regularly screen activity in the MobiKwik system. During a recent screening, we detected suspicious activity in your account which amounts to violation of our Policies, Terms and Conditions. Please be informed that after the device id check we found that you are not eligible, due to the below mentioned reasons:- 1. Using same Device for multiple MobiKwik accounts. 2. Using same Card on multiple MobiKwik accounts. 3. Not availed the offer within the offer period Aug-Nov15. 4. Have taken it more than once in a previous months by any fraudulent activities. 5. Taken it on a different device than the eligible ones. So you are not eligible and we can not provide you the benefit of the offer. Moreover we will not be able to help you in this same concern. Thank you for being a valued MobiKwik customer. Best Wishes! Team MobiKwik” I’ve availed the offer fair and square. The account is used only on the Lumia device and so is the debit card! However the support at MobiKwik seems to just want to do away with the offer and would give any reason for it. How do I escalate this to MobiKwik and also get this noticed to Microsoft!
