[Resolved]  Xolo Q700 — Display problem just after 15 days

I have bought XOLO Q700 on 22nd July 2013 from Croma Rohini store in delhi. On 7th August i.e. just after 15 days, I observed that there is a yellow line appearing on the screen. In just 15 days, it start causing problem in display. I made a complaint in XOLO customer care and ask them to replace my phone instead of repairing. They told me that it can be repaired only not replace and you need to deliver this to our Sec - 4 Rohini centre and it will take only 5 working days + 2 days for dispatch. However, when I deliver the phone at centre they told me that it will take atleast 15 days. Also, I wrote an e-mail to XOLO care, but no response received.

I again call the customer care on 8th August, to inform them that I have delivered my set to delivery centre and ask about replacing the set instead of asking. I got the same reply as mentioned above. I asked them the corporate address of XOLO, but they told me that this information can not be given. I asked them, can I speak to your manager. Again, the reply was "NO".

I am asking for replacing instead of repairing of the mobile set. Why should I take a defective piece from the company after paying a huge amount of Rs. 9700/- (Nine Thousand Seven Hundred ruppees only). I was not at all aware that the XOLO company is not taking care of the quality of the phone. Otherwise, I would have not bought this phone. I have delivered my phone at Sec 4 Rohini as your representative guided me. However, I am looking for the new handset rather than repaired set.

I have wirtten an e-mail to XOLO care on 7th August from my personal e-mail id ([protected]@yahoo.co.in), however not received any response.

I am looking for a positive response from the company. I am expecting that the new handset will be given to me in 5 working days starting from the date of 8th August 2013 as the representative told me that your handset will take 5 working days once you deliver the phone at our delivery centre.

I have mentioned the Complaint no. in the subjhect line along with IMEI number of my phone. Re-iterating once again that I am looking for a new handset instead of a repaired set.
