Dear Sir; I booked a KUV 100 at Mohan Motors Kolkata (Address: 55, Chowringhee Road, Opp Nehru Children's Museum, Kolkata, West Bengal 700071), at the end of June; We opted for the highest model: Dual tone K8 version, 6 seater; As i am a doctor, and have a busy schedule, i had told the dealers to complete all the formalities, including registration and fitting of security plates, before taking delivery of the car; my car loan was approved before 30th June 2017 and the processing began; Subsequently, i got notification via SMS, from the PVD that my Registration fee was received on 7th July 2017; my insurance policy is from Bajaj Alianz General Insurance, issued on 5th July 2017; Then my string of problems began... 1) I got delivery of the car on 17th July 2017 (Monday evening, same day when our secured number plates were fitted); At the time of delivery, we saw a tiny scratch and a spot of misaligned paint on the two tone body ( left side rear panel and right side rear panel respectively); on showing it to the ASM concerned, who was handling our deal ( Mousumi Ghosh ph [protected]), we were told that it was minor thing and were advised to take the car to their workshop on the next day as they would fix it within 1-2 hrs; we took it there on Tuesday (18th July 2017), but the workshop executive (Avik Maitra phn [protected]) told that it would take at least a day to repair the thing; he promised me that he would drop the car to my home, next day by 2 pm; as i had suspected, he came up with various excuses and was unable to keep his word; i got my car after 4:30 pm on 19th July 2017 (Wednesday) 2) As if this much harassment and turmoil was not enough, on the evening of 19th July 2017, when i received my Insurance policy by courier, i found out that the document showed my car as a diesel variant, instead of the petrol variant that i had actually purchased; I was at my wit's end by this time and called up Mousumi Ghosh, ASM at Mohon Motors, and as before, was told that she will look into the matter; she also consoled me that as the chasis number is correctly mentioned, i wont face any problems in the future; Now I would like to know, why is'nt a careless and callous dealer like Mohon motors, being blacklisted, after taking an honest purchaser for a ride?
