    Address: Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala

    Mohandas Fiat Thiruvananthapuram was my preferred dealer due to proximity to the place where I live (10 kms). However the sales team failed to impress me and forced me to make a double minded booking for a fiat punto evo. The dealer was unable to source my preferred choice of colour, hence I made the booking, but informed that the colour would be selected later. I got in touch with the next available fiat dealer (60 kms). And they happily sourced my colour preference the very next day. I was 100% satisfied with the ownership and commitment that the Daiwik fiat, Kollam bestowed on me. They even convinced me to go for the 90 hp version. I purchased my vehicle on 30th October 2014 (Distance:4875 Kms, VIN:MCA11876G07057615GJZ, KL 22 G 3976). However once the Mohandas team came to know of my decision, they had been furious about my choice. On presenting the cancellation request for a refund, they kept the cash receipt and booking invoice to themselves. Also they informed that the cancellation will take two weeks and I will be contacted for receipt of the cancelled amount. After a while as I had not received any communication from the team, I visited the facility once again after a month. This time I was told that the processing is still on and would be soon ready for collection. I left the premises and as soon as I reached my office, I received the next call that the amount is ready for collection. On driving back to the facility I was intimated that there is a cancellation fee of Rs.2500 charged. I questioned the rationale for the cancellation fee as it was never mentioned during the booking. But I was told that it was specified in the Booking Invoice. I am very sure that I had not signed off to such an agreement. With this kind of an approach, Fiat is not going to be any different as far as after sales service is concerned, which was the primary reason for breaking off from TATA. In spite of multiple requests for a duplicate copy of the booking invoice I was shown the way out of the facility. This is a completely unethical and disheartening attitude from a dealership. I only wanted a scanned copy of the booking invoice which they claim, that I had signed to. With this sort of an approach from the dealer, I am not confident of further services to be expected from this dealer. And left with the only option to drive up to Daiwik Fiat, Kollam for the after sales service. I am eagerly looking forward to new dealerships in Trivandrum. Meanwhile to paraphrase on the rude attitude from the dealer below is the reply I received for my mail. VISHNU SHYLESH <[protected]@mohandasfiat.com> Jan 23 to service.india, me, Headsales, Ceo Tittoo, Consider this mail as the last one on the subject. At the outset we would like to clarify that the signed Order Booking form by you is clearly mentioning about the cancellation fee.We strongly believe that the logic behind the cancellation fee need not necessarily be explained. On this context, we urge you to refresh your memory on the 12 visits made by our DSE to your home which includes 6 test drives on various days and time. If you are serious on the refund, you may either come in person with a stamped receipt (revenue) of Rs.2500 or forward your bank account number within 10 days from 21st January. Regards. On[protected]:24, Tittoo Alex wrote: Vishnu, Thanks for the mail. However I believe you had NOT been briefed of the concerns raised through FCA as none are addressed in the above mail. The concern raised is on why the cancellation fee is not intimated during the booking process. Also what is the rationale behind a cancellation fee being charged as far as there is no cost impact to the business. It would have made some sense in case a vehicle was sourced/blocked against the booking. But I was yet to confirm my colour preference during the booking hence a vehicle could not have been blocked. Expecting a response for the concerns raised. Sir, you can come either come and collect it or we can transfer it to your account.Kindly send your account number, so that we can transfer the balance amount to your account. Thanks & Regards Vishnu Shylesh.

      I have booked a Tata Indigo car from Mohandas Motors Pvt Ltd Peroorkada in the name of Mrs. Padmavathy Amma on 06th May ( Order No – 01705), On 21st May My loan amount was sanctioned and DD from the Canara bank was delivered to Mohandas motors ( DD No 758792) After getting the full payment The dealer has registered the Vehicle in My name on 23rd May( Registration No KL 21 J 3033 and Chassis No MAT 607161CPP73957). From That date onwards I am continously going to their office for my vehicle and without no reason they are not delivering the vehicle to me, When I enquired the same to the sales person they said that, they cannot do anything because the CEO of Mohandas motors Mr.Rajendra Kumar has told them not to deliver the vehicle to me. I have taken this vehicle not for my personal use, I have taken that for Taxi use since I got a contract in a technopart company . I was supposed to give this vehicle on 27th May, , I have talked with the company and extended the contract date to 5th May . Each and everyday I am going to Mohandas motors and till date they have not given the vehicle to us What will I do now, My contract has cancelled and there is no use for me in taking this vehicle, This has happened only because of the irresponsible behavior from Mohandas motors. No one is giving a proper answer for our vehicle, I Want to know the solid reason for non delivery of my vehicle . Will any reputed company will do like this to a customer, Ashamed of you TATA Motors, you are the only person responsible for our loss. I will never recommend Tata Motors or Tata vehicle to any one, And will make aware of my friends and relatives not to take a tata vehicle .My daughter is a Tour manager in a Travel company in Trivandrum, and she will also inform this to all the travel companies and will put this matter in to the association to circulate a letter to all the travel companies about this issue and to give instruction not to take a vehicle from Mohandas Motors Pvt .Ltd Defenitely I am going to consumer court against this issue,

          Address: Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala

          Dear Sirs,
          I had unfortunately purchased an Indica Vista Aura Quadrajet, from Mohandas motors, Kollam on August, 31st 2010 (Invoice No: MMPL-TVM-00238, Engine No:100A[protected]. I had purchased the car in exchange with Maruthi Wagon R LXI Reg No: KL-02-AB-5431 owned by me.
          During this purchase, the executive (Mr.Bino Bhargavan) of Mohandas Motors came up and promised a sum of Rs 2,82,500/- for the Wagon R. He fraudulently made us believe that TATA is buying are WagonR. There after during the transaction they paid only Rs 2,75,000/- and asked us to pay back Rs 2500/-from that to them. They had misguide us that Rs 10,000/- (Including the Rs 2500/- I paid back) would be issued as a cheque in my name from TATA MOTORS as the exchange Bonus, within 3 months period.
          Now, it has been five months since the transaction and I have not received a single paise from TATA. Mr.Bino Bhargavan, the executive from Mohandas Motors had been making false committments all these days. Following which I personaly visited the CEO of Mohandas Motors, Mr. Venugopal at their Trivandrum office. He came up with a reason that there was a mass attrition in his company and that caused the delay of payment. Obviously, his statements were out of sense.
          Further, the CEO who was supposed to give a responsible answer shouted at me on 21/01/2011 morning as if I made a bad debt to him. I spend lakhs of rupees to purchase a car and having to confront such bitter experiences from a responsible person (CEO), is very absurd. Later on 21/01/2011noon he promised that he will present the issue on the board meeting to be held with TATA on that evening and until this moment no one called up.
          TATA is a company known for its ethics and Mohandas Motors will surely spoil your goodwill. You people hold up the business mantra “Customer is the king” but there is only selling and “Customer is in the ditch”.
          Sir,I hope you understandand my situation and will take the necessary action at the earliest; failing which I shall be forced to publish my experience of buying a TATA car on all social networking websites and also move by the way of Law.
          Details of my vehicle as follows;
          (Invoice No: MMPL-TVM-00238,Order No: 362, Chassis No: MAT 611452 APB 20784, Engine No:100A[protected], Colour : Infinity Black). Also the voice recordings of the phone call made by my husband Sanoj with Bino Bhargavan and the CEO is attached. Please take the help of your Kerala delegate to understand the conversation.
          Thanking you,
          Sincerely,

          I would agree with Sanoj, since the price they charge is higher than other dealers. For FIAT Punto they charge almost 2% extra. Also the dealings are not transparant, even bills also
