Monginis Cake Complaints & Reviews

On 2nd Oct 2016 I purchased a chocolate muffin from your Magarpatta store and when I tried to eat it, I got a black stone in it which got stuck in my teeth and caused severe pain!

The quality of product is really bad and finding a stone is something which I could not expect from a brand like Monginis. I am really unsatisfied and frustrated from this incident and want you to take immediate action.

Your product which contained a non edible product "A stone" has cased severe pain to me as I had undergone Root Canal Surgery of my teeth recently.
I have also registered a complaint in your complaint book at the store yesterday. Please find a screenshot of the complaint book.

Sent a mail to : Marketing.[protected]@gmail.com, but did not got any response.

Should I consider that Monginis doesn't care about such incidents and just do business with these kind of downgraded and adulterated products having stones and non edible products which can cause serious problems? And should I go the consumer forum with my complaint as Monginis can not help me ?

I had working in ghaziabad for Monginies (Delicia Foods Mumbai) & left my job on 30-6-16 but till date the company has not make my F& F & Rajkumar Singh ASM saying that there is no dues of mine. I had mail sent by him on 20-8-16 to submit the NOC & then they will pay my dues but now after submitting today he is denying for the same & useing abusive language.
Please make sure that I will have my balance dues ASAP from the super stockist Abhishek Trading Co. Ghaziabad 32/20 amrit steel compound south side indl. area ghaziabad.

Purchased 8 pieces of Browney pestries from Monginis cake shop Viman Nagar today on 18th Aug 2016.
When started eating it was smeling badly. When we check it throwly we found all FUNGUS at the bottom of all pestries and dry fruits on it smeling badly. It was very dangerous for health and feeling omety those who have eaten unknowningly.

It was a very bad quality food and not expected at all feom brands like Monginis.
It was good we have stoped eating and returned pestries to Monginis at 11.00am and registered complaint of same. We have taken photos of oestries with Fungus. It seems the peoduct is outdated or old.
Hope foe good health for those who have ate these bad food.

Requsting you to take immediate action as bad food is very dangerous to health.

Dear team,

I needed muffins cake in quantity of approximately 100, and for the same i called your marol maroshi road, andheri east, monginis outlet on #[protected] on 19-jul-2016

Spoke to a lady, she told me that if i need delivery of the same extra 50/- will be charged to me, i requested her to reduce the amount to 20/- as earlier we have taken delivery from monginis in rs. 20/-.
In turn she told me' i will pay you rs. 20/-, come & delivery for me'

I told her this is not the way to speak to customers. It was very unethical being in a service oriented company you speak to customers this way.

I ordered for 65 muffins cake from andheri - kurla rd, motilal nagar iii, andheri east outlet & got paid to the dealer total 360/- (325 (Cakes)+10 (Carry bag)+25 (Delivery charges)

On this i again called your marol outlet just to inform the lady that the delivery charges she was telling was very high & i got a better deal from the same outlet and she missed the customer just because of her arrogant and insensible behavior.

Rather than accepting her fault, she started laughing and told 'i know your type of customers, you think you are very smart. I know how to speak with people you don't teach me, how & why should i believe you that you got the order with less delivery charges, you would be lying'

It was very insensitive and ridiculous, i am writing this just to bring this to you notice that i am a customer of moniginis since many years which i would not be remembering also. Just because of few educated illiterates do not loose out customers. The way i heard from this lady today, there would be many who are going through this.

Kindly take this seriously and sensitize your front end team, they are the face for monginis.

I purchased today, Black forest cake from Panchpakhadi Thane today.

The cake was of bad quality and taste.

It seems that it was very old stored.

It spoiley anniversary.

Very bad feeling.

The very bad experience about Monginis first time ever

The shop keeper even did not gave me receipt and I also forgotten to ask for it.

What I can complain at last is I am very disappointed.

I had made an order (order(s) #[protected] on 20.06.2016 which includes 1.0) Macaroon Swirl Cake (INR 1200) + Lovable Tulip Blooms Chocolate Bouquet (INR 750) + Delivery charges (INR 100) which made an total order of INR 2050.

We received the order on 21.06.2016 beyond the agreed time, in addition to that delay, the order was incompletely delivered with only cake. The Lovable Tulip Blooms Chocolate Bouquet (INR 750) was completely missing.

We faced many difficulty in calling you on several phone numbers. But no response from your side.

Hence, Requesting you to deliver the pending item at earliest by today before 4 pm.

Sir i have purchsed 31.05.2016 black forest half kg cake at rs. 360/- at kharghar monginis shree sai enterprises, shop no 10, crystal plaza sector - 7 kharghar navi mumbai tel no[protected]. The shop seller taking extra money for knife rs. 10 /-. But before five days i was purchesed same cake at nerul monginis they taking same price with nkife. Rs 360/- now i want return the extra cost. Hello, I purchase a cake from near kaspata vasti Monjinish store, Pune yesterday on the date of 1st may2016. It is tottly unhealthy n too much hard . The cake was spoiled my birthday so what can i do plz inform me...and when I called the they said bring it back will exchange it and they need that old cake for tasting .when I send that cake the owner said it's OK and it's fresh cream and the taste will be like that and talk very rudely .it's really a bad experience.

I purchased three pastry for my mom dad 24th anniversary.I told the salesman to write 24 on pastry, he refused to write and said we only write this on cakes.what rude behavior was it? What policy does monginis follow?.About the pastry which I bought was awful not at all fresh and was so hard .Despite of asking him whether the cake is fresh, it tasted pathetic.

Yesterday i.e. 31.03.2016 i went to monginis shop at Gol Maidan, Ulhasnagar shop to purchase pineapple cake for one of our employees birthday. After cutting the cake we had as usual sharing of cake piece to one and all. But to our surprise one of our employee found an iron nail in one piece..This is pathetic.

I purchased a choclate cake on 21st january 2016 and no wonder it was worst cake we have ever brought.It smelled disgusting and un-eatable.Further on 29th february 2016 we ordered 3 chicken pan pizza and where not provided with the service as the bill amount was Rs.105 and he refused to provide change.Moreover vendors behavior was very rude and non-cooperative.

I purchased a cake and it was stale. it was an important day and we very having fun.. but as we started eating the cake all o[censored]s got upset.. unfortunetly we had to stop our celebration as the cake was stale..

Monginis you should stop your online delivery services to Goa. You charge your delivery charges of Rs.100 and you expect us to go and receive the order ourselves. I had ordered a cake for my boyfriend to be delivered on Valentine's Day as a surprise to him. Instead you call him on the day of the delivery and inform him that the cake cannot be delivered by you and ask him to come pick it up yourself. Making him wait for your delivery truck at the main centre for an hour far away from home. You ruined my surprise and our day. Why accept the order when you cannot deliver it to the given address. I am absolutely disgusted by your online services.

its was bed smell in cake cream and even base was not baked properly.
I returned that cake in next day morning to that retail shop and he said that they will give feedback within two days and still i didnt got the feedback and money back.
Me and my brother visited twice yet to that shop but they are not giving proper reply.

I bought a half Kg pineapple flavor cake from Dapodi outlet (in Pune, Maharashtra) of Monginis on 6th Feb 2016. The shop owner charged me 340 Rs for it. I asked him if rates have increased? He answered that yes rates have been increased from 1st Feb. I purchased the cake and got the bill from him. I enquired the rate of same cake from other outlet in nearby area (Pimple Gurav). They told me the correct rate of 300 Rs. Rates are fixed by the company. If any outlet is overcharging then the overcharged amount is directly going into shop owner's pocket. I bought a monginis swiss roll which was firstly expired and then when i went back to the shopkeeper to return the same he started arguing and shouting on me.the shopkeeper is in mumbra kausa near talao near shimla park next to fala complex popularly known as buddhe ki shop. kindly take a strict action against him he usually keep expired products in his shop. Im very fond of cakes and thought i would have lots during this trip to India. Bought 1 for my aunt's birthday and i made sure to mention non veg cake. Because the veg cakes are little hard. But this lady with all her attitude packed a veg cake and we noticed when it was opened at my aunt's house.
Today I asked my father to get a pastry from Monginis and he again asked for a non veg cake but i guess this store is stocked with veg cakes. It is hard like a stale roti. I dont understand if they have a hearing problem or something that they keep giving us veg cakes.
Please its a humble request do speak to the store owner and fix this problem. Im sure there are more unhappy customers like us.
But yes would love to mention all your cakes are fresh and service is good too in all the stores we visited till date except this one.

Sir i had purchased a pastry in morning 31st dec 2015 from jogeshwari east satellite building which happened to be stale atleast 2-4 days old inspite of telling them the same the concern person was not ready to agree and kept on trying to convince me that its not stale. I want someone from monginis to keep a check on the quality of food that is consumed if they do not wish to hamper its brandname.

I stay at barasat. Kolkata - 700124.near chapadali more. I visit monginis cake shop there almost regularly. And almost regularly I had to face misbehavior of the shop owner. The only reason I go there because of the quality of cakes and lack of cake shops in the locality. But today the person crossed every limit. He misbehaved not only with me but also also with my father. I cried after hearing his words. Don't know what he thought of himself. But being a customer I should receive a good treatment.
