Monginis Cake Complaints & Reviews

I had brought a Monginis Plum Cake 500 gm from an Monginis outlet in Kolkata having batch number 1108. Date of Maufacturing is 15/11/2011 and is best before 60 days. This was brought by me on the 25th December 2011.

While having a piece of the cake, to my horror, I found two small stone chips that hured my teeth while chewing. It was clearly embedded in the loaf and was not visible to the naked eye.

on 30th march 2011, I bought two pastries from wadala monginis and sadly both the pastries , choco delight and pineapple cream were stale and hard. this is the first time it has happened. I bought chicken culets and chicken puffs along with it but those were fine.
I have always been lover of monginis but this episode has put it in my bad books and i wil be reluctant to by it next time....

there is a monginis outlet in auandh. right opp to sony ericsson showroom. none of the cakes n other items have the price tags on them. n they charge any price they want for the cakes. ! all other outlets have standard prices for various types of cakes...please take strict action against them..they even threatened me to beat me up....when i criticized them for their rude behavior and irregular prices...THEY even refused to give me the cash...

I have to agree to the above. I too have faced an issue with monginis. I had made an online order for a cake form hyderabad to be delivered to a friend in Bangalore on the 2nd of December 2010. Before placing the order, I called up their mumbai head office to confirm if the delivery would be made on my desired date and time between 2PM and 3PM. Bought a cake on the 15th of Nov 2010 to celebrate children's day with my nieces and nephews. the cake was crumbly and there were white spots u see when d butter is gone bad. And the shop keeper kept blaming me that it was my mistake.......

dont ever order online with Monginis as they dont deliver on time and there is no one who is there to address to your complaints.
if you ask them what time they will deliver they will tell you from 11am to 5pm by this only you come to know what is level of customer service with these kind of answers.
IF YOU WANT TO WASTE YOUR MONEY THEN ORDER WITH MONGINIS...

It is my mothers birthday today.Last evening my sister bought an eggless chocolale brownie cake for Rs 220 from monginis shop situated in mulund in sarvodaya nagar.

To my surprise when we opened the box at 12 pm last night, there were three pastries instead !!

DESIGN WAS GIVEN BY ME AS THEY SAID THEY WILL MAKE A CAKE AS PER ANY GIVEN DESIGN.

THE DESIGN GIVEN WAS A BARBIE DOLL WITH PINK BACKGROUND,

A very bad experience with me specially from Monginis.

On 14th Feb 2010 I visited Monginis Store, Hadapsar Branch, Pune.

We Buy Chocolate Cake Valentine Special for Rs.230.00.

Wow what a hard cake. I ever tried this, Its like waste of my money & occasion.

These useless people are they don't know how to serve customers the rough language & cakes...

On 3/1/2010 i purchased a 1 kg ferrero rocher new year cake from Aundh monginies in Pune.That cake was 5 days stale.their counter contains crickets on a large no. and mice and rats.They have no price tags on the snacks.Some cakes at other monginies costs Rs.380 while they charge Rs.450.This is an extreme profit and is unfair.I recommend you all that please do not buy cakes from there.As the cakes are 1 week stale....
