[Resolved] Motorola Mobility — incompetent service centers | |
I own a moto x play device. I unlocked this device's bootloader couple of years ago. Recently i received ota update notifications from motorola as i was on stock firmware. On updating the phone is bricked. When i went to the service centre the guys where not able to understand the difference between rooted device and unlocked bootloader. Moreover they didn't even understand the problem and reverted to me saying that they will charge 300 (Service charge) + 250 for the update of os. And even if it was not possible to flash os they will take service charge. Now the problem although on a unlocked device was caused due to ota updates from motorola which possibly shouldn't have been pushed to unlocked device on first place. This is hampering my business a lot and i would like to escalate this issue in case of device not put to proper working condition.
