I worked for Mphasis for 17 years and resigned on 3rd April 2022.
As per their policy(as mentioned in the document shared with Relieving letter) employee need to wait for 2 months from the date of leaving to apply for PF withdrawal. I submitted all the required documents to Mphasis office address as mentioned in the policy via courier and it was received by Mphasis on June 13th.
Again as per the policy ex-employees need to submit a ServiceNow ticket to get the status.
Below are my battle with Mphasis to get my money which they are holding in companies PF trust:
= On June 16th I submitted a ticket (HR0250610) to get the status of my request.
= On June 20th, I got the below response from Mphasis and they closed the ticket:
"The PF amount of Rs. [XXXX] is settled to member bank account on 10-May-2022. "
The amount they mentioned here was my Gratuity amount. I am surprised how a company can make such a mistake.
= I again raised another ticket (HR0252034) explaining them that my query is not about Gratuity. Its about my PF money ! It was on June 21, 2022
= On June 27, I got the below response explaining a process different from what was mentioned in their relieving documents.
"Please inform the member to share the PF claim forms with supportings scan copies for us to process the PF settlement application, . And in case if the member is already shared to [protected]@mphasis.com we request the member to re-share through this email for speedy processing the PF claim."
So I got all the documents printed, filled again and emailed the scanned copies to the above email address on July 10th. Waste of time and money. Thanks to Mphasis policies and processes.
= On July 14th I got the below response from pfqueries.
"Your PF settlement application has been received and it has been forwarded to the respective team for the validation, Post the validation we will be informed you in-case any additional supporting documents required.
If the application is good to go, it may take 15 to 20 working days to process the same, request your kind co-operation."
= Today is August 20, 2022. No updates from the team.
I have quit my full time job and desperately waiting to get my PF money. I went through similar pain in getting my gratuity amount also. I am following up with them for the last 2 months for my money. Kindly help to get the money as early as possible.
