MRM Travels — Women Passenger harassment in MRM Travels -(Trichy to Chennai 2PM bus)

Dear RedBus, I have booked tickets for my sisters in RedBus for 28/12/2014 (sunday) at 2PM in MRM Travels. Seat Numbers 13, 14, 15, 16. Attached ticket for your reference. Passenger Details: [protected]------ Name Gender Age: [protected]----- Saratha (F) 35 Chitra (F) 31 ImayaBharathi - 12 Madhushri - 6 Krithika - 4 Below are the issues we faced while before and after boarding the bus. Boarding point what they mentioned in the site is Aboorva Hotel near Central Bus Stand. we waited there till 2 PM and called MRM travels coordinator, they said bus cannot come to Central bus stand and they asked us to come to puthukottai bypass which is 5 to 6 kms away from the boarding point . Passengers are Ladies and Kids, no Gents accompanied them.They are not familiar to Trichy, this is the first time they are going to Trichy. They do not know the place what they mentioned over the phone that too in last minute after we called them. Passengers took auto from Central and reached the bypass. Auto fare is 100 rs. Bus came at 3 PM, 1hr late . While boarding the bus, the driver ill treated ladies passengers saying "why you called so many times and disturbing us, i[censored] want board the bus or get off the bus ". Since they are alone, with no choice they boarded into the bus despite of this ill treatment by the driver. When they boarded inside the bus, to their surprise the seats already occupied by some other persons. They asked the driver regarding the issue. Driver responded so poorly. He said " No one is following the seat number/order, sit in the seats whichever available/unoccupied." Passengers are asked to take some other seats which are at back. Driver did not allow us to sit in the seat which we booked through online via REDBUS. Driver given seat next to a unknown male for my sister . Why is this happening?????????? what is the use of we booking seats in advance????? I called the MRM Travels coordinator and reported this isuue, the response i received is totally unethical and unacceptable. Really unacceptable.!!! Coordinator too asked me to "adjust with the seat what the driver has given in alternate for your booked seats or you can complain to REDBUS or whomever you want. we have only those seats available. People who are sitting in the seats booked by you are already boarded from different point, they are travelling for long time, we cant ask them to change the seats now". When my sister asked to give the booked seats, Driver behaved too harshly and scolded her saying "Are you Women or Ghost. Are you Rowdy????". Is for getting these words from a Driver we paid and travelling in this bus???????? I called driver and coordinator lot many times, they are not picking the call. I am calling your REDBUS service from 2 PM today (28/12/2014), till am in call with your customer care. Till now I spoke with 8 members . to each person i narrated the whole incident, each person they said will take action. But we did not get a solution for this harassment or ill treatment or for this uncomfortable travel which my sisters are travelling now. When your customer care person contacted the owner and driver, they lied as many lies they can. Travels said at first 13 seats are free, next time they said 6 seats are free. when my sister asked to give the booked seats for them even now around 5.45 M, they said, seats are wet, thats why we alloted some other seats. Oh God, When my sister boarded the bus, no rain was there, Driver did not give seats what we have booked from the boarding point itself. These are totally lies. Even to your Customer care member "Shymala Charan", driver responded very poorly when she enquired why they haven't allocated the seats booked through redbus. thats the reason she moved this issue to your next level authority. Even now am calling your person "Sharath". No use... We are really deeply frustrated, irritated, pizzed off by this travel the GREAT MRM !!! your REDBUS!!! My sister is coming to chennai for her Uterus Cancer operation . We fought with travels for this reason only till now to allocate her the booked seats, she is going to reach now to chennai. but still no use.. no answer for us... We are left with no solution till now... I will never ever again book tickets in REDBUS. This is a lifetime lesson for me to not to trust your site and the travels provided by you... I never expected such a poor response from you... I am totally disappointed, cheated by you - REDBUS. When I am calling your customercare person they repeatedly telling to send mail, so that you will take care... Bus is running now, we cant do anything now, once you off board the bus, lease send a mail... If a person is dying for his life in bus, will you ask us to mail you after off boarding the bus???? My sisters are also facing or suffering such a situation in that bus now, RIGHT NOW... What you did till now?????????????? what is the answer for me????????????? what is the solution for this issue??????????????? I number we contacted your great great customer service are +91-[protected] +91-[protected]. If you di not believe our words you can track all the calls and the conversation made from these numbers with your customercare. Expecting a immediate, very immediate action from you, as you people asked us to send mail ... Dont make us to publish this issue and your poor response in social sites, consumer sites by letting our issue unanswered or unnoticed... Mam my wife also faced a similar issue today. They have absolutely no sense of talking to women. I beleive it's lack of proper education and upbringing that they think it's ok to behave so. They should be strictly punished. Problem is there is no one to discipline these ###. Somebody should . That somebody should be jurisdiction. But no one is taking an action.
