Order Confirmation No. [protected] MDN no: [protected] I purchased a wifi dongle from official MTS online website on 1st April. As per the plans mentioned on their website as per 1st April, I selected available plan and paid for the dongle i.e. (Rs 999 for 20gb day+20gb night = 40gb data). I also confirmed the same with MTS customer care and I got e-bill confirmation with plan and price as per my purchase. | called also a representative from MTS for new connection and he had come to my house to collect documents for same. Even he mentioned 40gb data, 999 plan and I gave him all my documents for the same plan (ref. acknowledgment copy). But MTS gave me connection only 4 days later and now said they changed their plans and hence cannot give 40gb data but only 24gb instead. I opposed and questioned why they would change something after purchasing device and opting as per data requirement. Why wasn't the website information updated and given false information to public.. They never gave any answer. I asked refund amount for dongle of Rs 999 but they said it is not possible as sim is already activated to my mdn. They said I can deactivate connection but will not receive any refund for dongle that was purchased. Hence I had no other option but to use their services as I had to use internet too. If they had refunded me product I would happily discontinue their services. I called up customer representative who gave me connection and asked him what is all this about and why MTS cheat me? He said he will speak with his area manager and get me 40gb data as same day he arranged for another customer old plan of 40gb despite changing plan. So MTS were giving selected customers old plan even when they were telling me otherwise. But later he said area manager refused and hence he was not in power to issue that. Hence I made complaints by phone and email to MTS and Appellate. But they simply ignored the matter saying they can do nothing as there is no data plan of 40gb as of today.. but yet on their website old plan is showing. They are cheating customers in data plans and not revealing hidden plan until customer has purchased their product. Please see that this is broad day light robbery on customers. Apart from that they give selected customers old plans even when claiming they don't have such facility. They promised that the old plan will come back soon and they can give me then. So, I continued with them for few months until I decided to disconnect in July 2015. I had need of 40gb data but since I was getting only 24gb, I had to pay extra Rs 300 for extra 5gb data per month. I decided to not pay their last bill of July for cheating and refusal to refund/ give me plan for what I purchased (as per information I received and put on their website as on 1st April. Now MTS is threatening me with legal letters for payment due of Rs 865 which I am not going to pay due to said reasons above. They should refund me Rs 999 plus all extra costs I incurred during these 3.5 months of their lies. Please see that justice is being done here and not allow such things to be repeated in future. It is incorrect and against law to put outdated price/data information and then expect customers to pay more/ less facility provided after purchasing of any product especially e-marketing. Please resolve these issues with MTS and ask them not to contact me again or send me further emails/mails to my address.
