[Resolved]  Mumbai Traffic Police — incorrect e challan levied on my vehicle

Respected sir/madam,
I have received e-challan no. Mumcc[protected] through sms on my mobile on 10th september 2019 from maharashtra traffic police for my two wheeler (Reg. No. Mh03cu6512) charged for "without helmet".
This fine of rs. 500/- has wrongly being charged to me and would like to bring to your notice the following points:
1. The time and date mentioned in echallan was 16:45 on 10-sep-2019. However at the said time and date, my vehicle was parked at my residence in powai. Since i am the only rider in my family & i was at my office during the time and date mentioned in the echallan, it is not possible that my vehicle was captured on camera at chembur (W).
2. Additionally, the picture captured by traffic cameras (Attached with the echallan) do not belong to my vehicle. The colour of my vehicle is matte silver whereas the one in the echallan image is of black colour. It is possible due to mud on the number plate, the registration digits (Possibly mh03cu4512) might have been wrongly interpreted by the traffic officer as mh03cu6512.
3. I am also attaching images of my vehicle for your ready reference (My_vehicle_image_a & my_vehicle_image_b). I would like to bring to your attention to 3 points listed below.
A. The safety guard design on my vehicle is different than the echallan image and it does not cover/obstruct the rear brake light with a horizontal bars.
B. There also seems to be some kind of orange/red sticker below the rear seat handle in the echallan image, which is not present on my vehicle.
C. The design & details on the number plate of my vehicle are also different. The echallan images do not show the black frame with the words “pilot honda - [protected]”, which are actually present on my vehicle.
I request the concerned authorities to look into the details of the images (Echallan as well as my vehicle) and levy the charges to right defaulter. I also request the concerned authorities to cancel the echallan no. Mumcc[protected] from my name & vehicle and provide the necessary help.
