Sir, I am living in Avvaiyar street, Nilamangai Nagar, Adambakkam. Our house has a neem tree in the front and the tree has grown to the extent that some of its branches are extending in between the TNEB Overhead electric cables. As we are expecting rains in near future, we fear that these branches may touch the wires when there is heavy wind and cause problems in power supply. We have already asked for the Corporation to send somebody to cut the branches of the tree which have overgrown. But nobody has come yet. There is no response at all. I request the authorities to send some persons as early as possible to cut the tree branches ( we want to cut branches only) so as to avoid any problem during rainy season.

Updated by VISHNUYACHAS Sir/madam, this is to bring to your kind attention that the approach path besides the st. Thomas mount railway station subway on the pazhandiamman koil side is always occupied by flower and fruit vendors and autodrivers and autos. Moreover, the pedestrian footpath (Platform) on either side of the road are illegally occupied by flower and fruit vendors and even some of them have erected wooden shop like structures on the platform making the platform unable to be utilized by the pedestrians. The pedestrians have to walk on the narrow road in the heavy traffic on either directions risking their lives. The autodrivers are also atrocious pulling the autos back and forth blocking the way for pedestrians. This has been happening for years together. Same is the case at brindavan nagar main road where the platforms are occupied by shop keepers. Pedestrians are forced to walk on the road risking their lives. Both the corporation officials and police are blind to this type of activities. I request the authorities to evict these pavement vendors and autorickshaws and enable the pedestrians to walk freely and without fear.
