Municipal Corporation Of Delhi — illegal construction by govt employee in vasant kunj

This is to bring to your notice that we the Resident welfare association (RWA) of D6, Vasant Kunj wish to inform you that there is an unauthorized construction going in our block by Mr Surender Nath Mohan, flat no: Y2/303 (Third Floor), Vasant Kunj, without the permission of MCD or any other government body. Mr. Mohan is a senior government officer in the Indian railways.

This construction is creating lot of miseries for the residents around and is a threat to normal living and if this unauthorized construction is not stopped immediately it will encourage others to follow the same practice. Mr Mohan is building a column in front of the building which is supposed to be a public area.

The structure of the building is already in bad stage and it may lead to a serious problem in the future for other flat owners.

If a government employee can do this, why would other people in the society follow the same?

It is therefore requested to take immediate action against them and to stop the ongoing illegal construction and to demolish the unauthorized structure that he has already built.

We are attaching copies of the pictures of the illegal construction.
