Since past few days we are getting dark Green dirty water through BMC pipeline in Jogeshwari (W) in areas near 24karat multiplex, please advice who/ which authority to complain and get water samples tested. Health of thousands of Peoples including Children are in major risk due to this problem.

Dear sir,

I am a resident of the H.No 264, Correia Villa, Father Peter Pereira Marg, Old Kurla West Mumbai 4000-70.

we are facing lot of problems due to the open drainage next to our house.This drainage belongs to House No 262, D'phena house, Fr Peter Pereira Marg, Old Kurla West, Mumbai 4000-70. The entire area is smelling a lot. We have already complaint to the BMC about the same, however no action has been taken on the owner. Its been more than 20days and the drainage is overflowing, its causing serious problem to neigbhours and people who passby because it flowing right on the road.

The owner is well aware, however its fallen on deaf ears. I have registered two compaints with BMC (compliant numbers :[protected],[protected], however still no action has been taken. Please look into the matter at the earliest

We the tanent of nurunissa manzil,silva pakhadi road,versova,andheri(west),mumbai-61,request you to take an urgent action against this complaint.Due to dirty water we are not able to go for prayers and can't even drink that water its a humble request to you to take a strick action against this.please

VISIT BIRTH RECORD DEPARTMENT IN MUMBAI MUNICIPAL CORPORATION IN ANY WARD FOR BIRTH RECORDS (EVEN WITH THE CHRISTIAN BAPTISIMAL CERTIFICATE) TO SHOW THE DATE OF EXACT BIRTH OF THE CHILD AND PARENTS NAME. IT WILL BE A MIRACLE IF YOU FIND YOUR BIRTH RECORD THAT YOU ARE REALLY THE PERSON YOU ARE NAMED. PARENTS NAME SPELLED AS PER THE WHIMS AND FANCY OF THE INTELLIGENT SCRIBE TO WRITES AND SCROLL AND REWRITTER AGAINS HAS HIS TRANSLATION WHICH DOES NOT MEET THE ENGLISH LEAVE AWAY THE CHRISTIAN NAME DICTIONARY ENGLISH, PORTUGUES, SPANISH,ETC.

one local gunda's were taken 1" water connection in the name of saiyyed wajihuddin address is anand niwas technical area andhri east mum 59 in 1990 but when water bill is dues app. 1.20lac bmc cut his line from meter not in main line till date all 4(like rafiq ahmed, safi shaikha, abida shaikha, almeda, & sayyed salman) member theft water and they manage meter reading inspector. but unfortunatly they take new pipe line from main line without information of bmc.
this is one example which is going to loss bmc please take action & start to stop corruption

I am a resident of Thakur Village, Kandivali (E), Mumbai. Being such a thickly populated area, the Municipal Corporation is ignoring the existing road conditions.

The moment you enter the Village from Mahindra & Mahindra towards Oberoi Garden, you will really get the feeling of a village bumpy ride. The name village is for namesake only and not to replicate conditions. Even villages in todays world would be better maintained.

All the roads inside the village (lanes, bylanes too) are in pathetic conditions and you will hardly find a smooth patch. We were hoping that after the rains, the municipal corporation would themselves take the onus to improve conditions.

It is in urgent need for repairs and I would request you to take suitable measures.

We stay at Goregaon West, Unnat Nagar II. There is a grabage dump right next to our house. The stench inside our house is unbearable at times. Also many a time, large sized garbage like furniture, chopped branches are dumped, damaging our walls & plants/trees next to each.

This area has row houses only & on all other streets garbage is collected from individual houses. Although house to house garbage collection was launched in this area, few years back, people have been dumping garbage here & the garbage collection trucks collect the garbage from here. Request you to either shift the dump or send Nuisance Detectors, so that no dumping will be done & garbabge will be collected from individual houses as happening on the nearby streets.

We have placed several complaints over the phone, but no action has been taken.

The stretch of road from Kingfisher building on WEH near Ville-Parle flyover to Sahara Star is in a real pity condition. Even after logging complaint on MCGM website (last month) no repairs to road have been done. More shocking is that road being the entry point to Domestic airport is in such a bad condition. Can you please look into this.

I am staying at Ganga Sadan Building,P L Lokhande Marg Chembur, Mumbai-89. (Situated near Srinagar Complex) Since last one week my Building is filled with sewerage drain. The Road P L Lokhande Marg is also filled partially with sewerage drain and all residents in the locality had the best diwali season to remember BMC forever. So far no body from BMC has cared to look into the problem and the situation can spread to epidemics in the region. Can some one responsible literate person from BMC can read this message and act????

Below the Dindoshi Flyover, before Dindoshi signal going towards Borivali, There is Manhole cover which is not properly covered led to side open, due to the same yesterday my two wheeler got stuck between the gap & I lost the control, pillion rider fell off from my bike & after that myself also fall down with my bike.... lucky we escaped with minor injuries..but it could be fatal if any heavy vehicle would following us...by stander told us earlier also there was a same accident at this place because of the gap in manhole cover...
Please take necessary action & do the rectification measures to avoid any future accident...

The garbage van comes at the corner of the lane & we are demanded an unofficial fee of Rs 300/- month, for collecting the garbage bins from our building. Soceity can only make legitimate payments by cheque.
Presently, though we are collecting the building garbage in bins as per BMC rules, BMC workers are not collecting the garbage. from- 472B, Garden Panorama(earlier Vimal Hans)

We are facing shortage of water for last few months in Khar-Danda.We are not being able to get sufficent water for our daily needs also.Every Alternate days we face problem.

Greetings of the day,

My name is " Ghanshyam Kanojia ", I am resident of Mahalaxmi ( East ) Saat Rasta. While commuting daily to Mahalaxmi Station, I find few people standing outside the Mahalaxmi station over the bridge, and catch hold the person who spits on the bridge in front of them. My concern is that there is no place to spit nor any dustbin provided by authority then why this people catch the poor people everyday.

The official rate of the fine is Rs.200/- but the poor people find it hard to pay the full fine, hence they end up paying anything between Rs.50 to 200/- and the entire kitty goes in the pocket of people authorized intead of Municipal corporation.

This is request to you, first of all provide the facility and then charge fine.

This is w.r.t pathetic condition of roads in Mumbai suburbs. I am resident of Ville-Parle (E) and i have lodged complain for the same with MCGM but they have not yet responded. Deails of the complain are as below:

The roads in complain are "Nehru Road (from Station to Gujarat Society), Dixit Cross road (From Sathaye College to Kalpataru Society) and WEH (under Ville-Parle flyover near Atithi Hotel).

Can this complain be speed up with help of this website?

How come the roads are encroached upon by and in some areas barricaded and closed by paandals for the Ganesh festive season. Why this can’t be done on public grounds and centers, instead of causing inconvenience to thousand of people who commute daily and are incovienced by the traffic caused by these Paandals that are encroached upon the BMC roads. Who and which government looks into these issues ?. There are police stations located adjacent to where these Paandals , ironic is it not.

Unauthorised Extension of Flat No. 703 in both Living room & Bed room is done in Mira Apartment CHS at Military Road, Marol, Andheri East.It is can be seen from outside the floor has been extended and is supported outside to Building on cantiliver trust which is not designed for taking such huge dead loads. The support is week and will fall down at any time. Just below the unauthorised construction, the Entrance to Building is located. All Building facilities are under danger because of this construction. BMC Mumbai Should take stern and quick action on this defaulter. Many lives are under danger, which can be clearly seen from outside the Buliding. BMC should interfere and restore the original building floor layout.

The illegal hoardings on the roads and beside it are causing real trouble to the commuters (especially in the parel area). These days because of the ganeshutsav there are several illegal hoardings and banners from political groups and various companies. I do not understand why is the BMC so vulnerable to remove them. These hoardings would cause major trouble someday.

I am a resident of Kurla (East) Bldg No 50 Nehru Nagar, Mumbai 400 024. We are not receiving water supply from the BMC Since this week. I have been residing in this flat for the past 3 years and we have never had such a problem. My complaint is that,the water supply should be regularied as soon as possible and meanwhile BMC should supply their Water Tanker to our building till the time they fix the problem.

Potholes’ Repair
The comments for not possible to repair the potholes by BMC officials are really pathetic and can only be accepted by persons not related to road engg.
The fundamentals of road engineering are not being followed for repairs of potholes which are distratous and prone to accidents. The everything for repairs are being done in most careless manners , may be by contract people, and not at all supervised by technically qualified staff.
As I have seen the ordinary workers fill up the potholes without being directed for the reliable procedure for repairs. No wonder that the repairs are unsuccessful.
For asphalt road repairs, affected by potholes, the surface must be cut by at least half foot more surrounding the repairs in a rectangular shape with asphalt cutter machine. Inside cut area, loose matter is required to be removed till sub-base . Then the subbase must be well compacted with compacting machine, for small area 1.5 to 2 tonne bomag roller would be better. For checking compaction, density test should be done by laboratory. The cutting edge of asphalt must be well cleaned to remove dust. Over the cleaned edge and sub-base hot bitumen must be applied as a binder, before filling the affected area with mixture of hot bitumen and road metal. Then after keeping required camber, the surface must be well compacted with compacting machine . Some of the big potholes are required to be checked with compaction test.
As far as I saw BMC’s method of repairs , they have never done the proper ways . They are repairing asphalt roads like earthen roads.
Then regarding repairs of paving block’s road repairs, nobody bothers for compaction of subbase, interlocking junction of existing blocks and compaction over the finished surface.
In no other countries the condition of roads can be found that we are having in our aamchi mumbai. Moreover we must be shameful to announce our unability to maintain the well conditioned roads..

We stay at Mahavir Nagar, opposite Joggers Park. We get water supply from BMC only for one and a half hour in a day. The building has a tank but still water is not supplied to us throughout the day. The number for BMC which is 26184173 is never reachable which is supposedly the complaint number. Is there any solution to this problem?
