I am staying at B13/3 Golf Green Phase 1 Kolkata 700095. This complain is regarding the stray dogs that have gathered beside my building. Its been months now that these dogs reside beside my building and have become a problem to the residents during the night. These dogs are chasing the residents when they leave during the evening or night and has even tried to bite the residents in the area. The number of the dogs have increased which has been creating a problem recently.

Please help with the same if possible. As they howl at odd times during the night and going out has become a problem for the residents as well as the people in the area.

and other people in my colony are fade up of stray dogs as they attack anyone randomly.
People are so much scared that inspite of auch a beautiful green colony we avoid going out on foot, I specially avoid to go out with my baby as it is quite risky
Kindly look into the situation and take these dogs away
I am a dog lover but have not seen reckless stray dogs ever they can attack anyone anytime.

We have a problem with stray dogs, there are about 15 to 20 dogs, which stays around in my house, they always shout specially at night time after 11 pm. They come on the road and start barking/ shouting for full night, i have 1 year old baby, she gets disturb around 3am, some time she can't sleep just because of dogs shouts.

And important thing is there's are many persons have medical issues, they want some relax apart from this many peoples are doing his job work from home, all the time these dogs are barking due to those reasons we are getting complaint from our client, because during the call they got too much noises. These dogs are very dangerous even someone unknown person came to our area like municipal employee for polio and sanitation purpose they got many time in ruining situation.
Request you to plz do something for us. We can't really sleep at night even if our window is close. They bark all the time at night.

The number of street dogs are rapidly increasing and the situation is so adverse that the streets are filled with a lot of them. Its hard going out when the streets are a bit empty.
I am a resident of Mondolpara Jyangra Baguiati Kolkata 700059. Repeated complaints fell to deaf ears. Today i got bit. Luckily it was just a minor scratch but my pant is completely torn.
When will this problem get resolved?
Some are okay but theres a lot.
Please do the needful.

Sub: 7 Stray Dog Menace in our complex-Diamond City South-58, M.G.Road to be removed

Dear Sir,

I am a resident of Diamond City South, 58, M.G.Road, Tollygunge-Karunamayee signal, Haridevpur, Kolkata-700041.

I along with other residents of my complex are facing regular threat from the stray dogs in my complex and the road outside. In the recent past one old woman was bitten on her leg and just yesterday it has bitten a child. For regular residents during our early morning walking as well as in the night these stray dogs are barking and trying to harass us by coming nearer to us and as told above they have bitten the residents.

Our residents association took up this issue to the municipality but it is yet to be solved.

Therefore, sir, I on behalf of my 700 families of co-residents would like to humbly request you to take necessary steps on urgent basis to remove these stray dogs who are multiplying dangerously and threatening the safety o[censored]s.

I'm resident of Jyoti enclave 91/28Motilal gupta road, ward number 122, Kolkata 08. We have continuous water logging problem after a small rain, in the whole road from sitala mondir to our complex, is has open drains, which are getting overflowed and using the roads is very much difficult, KMC is not taking necessary measures to solve the problem.

In our area and infact just below my building there are 7-8 stray dogs who make a circle everytime and scares me a lot...i request you to please remove stray dogs from the area fully and if someone is having an issue with it removed then ask them to keep it at their house because it scares me a lot...i hope that my issue is being resolved as early as possible.

I am a resident of 90 a taltala entally . Throughout the whole night, there are many dogs roaming on the streets.

They bark loudly all the night which disturbs our sound sleep. This become a problem for I am who is a sugar patient. Who lives in 3rd floor

Please look after this problem and I suggest you should send some dog catchers in and clear them off.

I have raised a complaint on the KMC Portal on 13th July 2022 but the same has not been addressed and on searching for the same it is showing No complaint found. Complaint no - P56972022. A genuine complaint for such a long standing issue has been handled irresponsibly. What faith can a common man have on government organizations?

We reside in Nelima Apartment situated in Motilal Gupta Road, and humbly request you to help us by establishing proper guidelines, cleaning procedures to eliminate environmental hazard that we are facing everyday due to the installation of new garbage compactor machine, that has started to cause multiple health related issues for all our dwellers in this building.

The garbage that is thrown by the neighborhood residents are openly scattered which attracts stray dogs, flies, mosquitos, and other insects. These open garbage and compost are then left to be rotted without proper handling of the same. These areas that require cleaning and or sanitation have never been done and or attempted to so in these couple of months. These always resulted in barking of the dogs, unbreathable & perilous odor and air that has been a catalyst to our deteriorating health of all our residents.

Please take preventive measures to at earliest!

Hello Sir/Madam,

The number of stray dogs’ population has increased considerably, which is leading to the following problems:
1. Fights between dogs and barking during the night, disturbing the whole locality's sleep.
2. Biting and chasing small children. Children are afraid even to go out.
3. Pooping and making the buildings dirt. They poop on the stairs and in front of the main door daily.
4. Increasing the risk of rabies as the dogs are not vaccinated.
5. Spreading the garbage on the streets.
6. Destroying the seats of two-wheelers.

I request you to please look into the issue as it is also leading to fights and disharmony between the people of the locality. one on side few people feed the start dogs and few people object to them as the dogs are causing a lot of trouble in the locality.

Will be really obliged if you could also escalate this issue.

39/5 SCHOOL ROAD, EAST RAJAPUR, SANTOSHPUR, WARD NO. 103, KOLKATA -700075. Sir, there is acute water supply problem in our residential building having 6 flats from KMC water supply line. Requesting you to take necessary actions as soon as possible. As we have patients in some of the flats and not having water is a big problem.

Dear Sir / Madam I am ashamed to highlight that the streets in Rabindra Sarani, Durganagar, Kolkata - 65 gets water logged quiet frequently . Even when there is slight rain. As this is the main road running thorugh Durganagar (LP 1/18/0/1/1) it is a busy stretch. There is a hospital, a school, and other clinics and institutes which remains partly submerged at little bit of rain. To us the issue is that the nearby canal in Durganagar is at 10-12 inches higher, so our area road like a plate where water get accumulated from all side and subsides the last as well. Entire area is massively water logged, entering our houses, at certain points the water level is above knee level. Resulting in huge wave of water when there is any vehicular movement. Our houses are getting damaged. Due to stagnant water, bad odour and mosquitoes make life miserable. It is impossible to stay ion the ground floor of houses. Repeatedly have highlighted the same to councillor and other leaders. Request some help as none o[censored]s can go to office, nor can children go to school. Its looks like we live in some village or dark age. We have few elderly people staying in our neighbourhood, it becomes risky with such massive water logging. Please Help.

Our residential complex South City Prince Anwer Shah Kolkata was established in 2008 but it’s now 2022 we have not received any water from Kolkata Municipal Corporation.

Will pay high tax but will not receive any water is not acceptable to us
