My Happy Journey — Wrong confirmations and wrong itinerary | |||
I would never recommend My happy journey for any one. Its totally a mess at their work place. They send the Itinerary for confirmation and after confirmation and half payment they change the hotel rooms as per their requirement. We are forced to take that hotel because we are left with no other option. If we want the hotels we want (to which they had agreed earlier) we are asked to pay extra. In my case I was asked to pay 9000 extra. The coordinator who was interacting with me suddenly goes off the record and does not respond (I would not like to mention his name) with only two days left for the departure I don’t have my Visa, Passport and Hotel room confirmations. They mention lot places that they will be taking us through, but the real shocker you will receive when the cab driver give you the trip plan. Not even a single place is covered in whatever is in the Itinerary. I have spent close to 20K in visiting those places only for taxi. Pick from airport is late and trip not booked in my name lot of confusion between the cab driver and local correspondent. I had to wait for three hours as the room was not booked at all in Langkawi. My happy journey doesn’t not book directly, they book it through colour full vacations Delhi. Half day city tour is only for three hours and not more than that. 1) For the VIsa you sent a mail on Saturday afternoon to submit the documents and then it was from your side u insisted on picking it from my residence on Sunday since your person was near to my place.
2)He insisted to give only 40K and rest only after I get an confirmation of room vouchers.If I was asked to pay for room confirmations I would have made the payment.
3) First when I called your land line I was told not to call on land line as your persons might be out on official work.Your person did not pick my call for 5 days not even a single message communication how to proceed further.
4) I had initially asked for 8 days tour it was cut short by one day. Your so called employees assured me to give one day stay free in mysore (Coorg) in a good hotel as a complimentary as I was not willing to cut short my trip (it would have been better I should have gone to some other travel agent)I should have taken that call. First ask your employees to stop giving false promises.
5) documents came only on the day of travel that too at 2 pm. Instead of packing and getting ready you think I should have waited at your place to collect documents. Again your employee false promise "Visa processing takes only 3 days max". It took 10 days I had given my documents on 30th of may to be precise. Your person did not even respond to my call.
6)I had to reduce the cost you gave me hotel of your choice and not mine when I had initially confirmed in which hotel I wished to stay.what should I call you as.
7) You confirm one hotel and book an another hotel of your choice. You give me vouchers at the last and ask me pay extra. When I insisted you even threatened that you will be cancelling the entire trip.
8) I reached the hotel at 12pm and not at 8am.hotel representatives were generous enough to allow me to check in early, but room were not at all booked. I had to call the one in Delhi to book. I was allowed to check in at 3pm and not at 2pm."Hotel room was not at all booked."
9)I am not talking of SIC here. I had to spend extra as the places mentioned during confirmation of itinerary was not included during the city tour. The local travel agent gave me his own itinerary.
10) I am aware that half day city tour does not mean 12hrs.but I was not aware that half day city tour means only 3 hrs.
11)I know Mr. Kartikeyan was generous enough to give me call and even send SMS, but it did not serve the purpose.

1) The Initial amount which you had paid was only for the flight tickets which was issued immidiatly to you.
2) Regarding visa - It was your trip and you were least bothered to come to our office to provide your documents.At last we waited for the deadline dates and at last we approached you to get your passport and we came and collected the passport on sunday(Holiday) for this you are telling our service is bad
3) You didnt made the balance payment at the proper time which we require to book the hotels of your choice, by the time you made the payment the hotel was unavailable and we gave an other similar hotel
4) To take your documents also you were very much least bothered (So called busy) we came 40km away from our office to your place to handover your traveling documents that too on your travel dates
5) You paid 4000/- less and you call us a cheater????
6) The checkin process of the international hotel will be at 2pm (we informed you the same but you were still arguing that you dint get the room) you reached by 8AM and check in will be at 2PM
7) The international travel will be in sic(Seat in coach) basis if want to travel personally than you have to spend more.
8) Half day city tour means it will be of the minimum time only not exactly like 12 hours.
9) From the day 1 till the end of the day we only called you and clarrified all you problems but you were not Picking our call
