I had ordered a product on Myntra on Oct 8th, 2023 and the cost of the product was Rs. 2376, with the coupon FESTIVESAVINGS, the price of the product was Rs. 2019. I also have the Myntra Kotak credita card, so I got an additional discount, and the final price I paid was the on-going sale and cost of the product was Rs. 1716.
I just received a message from Myntra saying that the order has been cancelled since the seller could not supply the product. So I opened Myntra to check if the product was still available, it of course is, but it is not priced at Rs. 3395, which is double of what I had paid. They gave me a 100 Rs coupon as an "apology" for the inconvenience.
I spoke to the escalation supervisor available, Shivam, and he admits that the order was cancelled because of pricing issue with the brand. He asked for time to check what was the best that he could do in this case, 30 seconds later he gets back on call to say you can order the same product but the price will be what is reflecting right now.
How dumb do you think the customers are? If you have had a pricing issue with the brand at least have the bloody decency to own up to the truth that the company has messed up, instead of putting it on the brand and trying to make a fool out of the customer.
You market a product at a particular price, you bloody well sell it at that price!
If you can't handle agreements and contracts with the brand, why the hell are you people even organising a sale? Besides, how is a coupon for Rs. 100 (on a minimum purchase of Rs. 599) going to make up for the price difference?
