Myntra.com — Manufacturing defect in the product but they won't take it back due to a silly a policy excuse | |||
I had purchased shoes for my niece on her first birthday. The shoes looked great from outside, but when we tried to put her feet inside it, it would just not go in! So of course the product is absolutely unused!! Since it was a gift I had only carefully cut the MRP price mentioned The price tag is safe with barcode and all other details intact! But Myntra isn't taking it back saying there's 'no price tag' on the product. Logically speaking it would just take them to print a new sticker and use the product. But the product has manufacturing defect ! The shoe cannot go on any child's foot, whoever is that age. Isn't this under their policy first to not sell manufacturing defective pieces and if sold by mistake they should take full responsibility of returning it? It appears to me that since Myntra could be facing difficulty selling this defective product anyway they're not entertaining any complaints coming with any issue. Even as per their policy their claim that the price tag is not there is wrong as the tag is there and nowhere have they mentioned that MRP should be cut with a pen when it's a gift. The barcode is there and all other details are clearly mentioned as they were in the first place. Was this information helpful? | |||
