[Resolved]  Myntra.com — Product delivered without tags & wrong size & not accepting return!

Product - Roadster (Men Brown Solid Leather Mid-Top Flat Desert Boots)

I had ordered Roadster Boots for Size 8, on 04 Aug 2021 and immediately I took the package and just to be safe after hearing all these fraud and scams from internet about online company delivering empty or wrong items, I started recording the video of opening the package and recorded till opening and taking out the product from box.

1. When I opened outer paper cover I realised that the box was not original Roadster box but a myntra box with a bar coded tag pasted on it with details

2. On opening the boxI noticed that Inside the box, on top of shoes a small product box cutout was place (which was of original box with details of shoes) the shoes are little old & scratched and the sole appeared as if someone had tried it already.

3. No tags were available or attached with the product.

4. The size was 10 instead of size 8 which I had ordered.

I quickly opened my myntra account and placed a return request as the product page was showing out of stock for all sizes, so can't place a size exchange request. Next day the myntra representative came to pickup the return product.

I handed him the product he opened and inspected the box, he said no tags are there on this shoe I will not take it. I also informed him that I received the product like this and I indeed showed him the unboxing video( https://drive.google.com/file/d/1klxGZJC1RA8RljNeoAj7Gd9eH5fKTnTR/view ) which clearly shows that product was received in myntra box with no tags.

He did not take the product. I called customer care and they raised a complain with Issue Number - IN[protected]) ON 05 Aug, and without resolving the issue they arked it as resolved and closed on 06 Aug, at 10:51.

With this reply -

Dear Customer,

This email is with regard to the return of the product.

We regret to inform you that your claim for the return of the product cannot be accommodated as the product was shipped to you in a proper and intact condition after a successful quality check.

We value your association with Myntra and thank you for your support & cooperation.

Now I have again opened the complain and sent images and video proof of showing the product as I had received and got a reply from Mr. Ravi and he says following -

Dear Sonu,

I understand your concern regarding the Return/Exchange.

Please be informed that after a thorough investigation and review of your claim, we found that the correct/fresh product was shipped from our warehouse.

We regret to inform you that your claim for the return of the product cannot be accommodated as the product was shipped to you in a proper and intact condition after a successful quality check.

I regret that the claim stands declined.

Your understanding and cooperation are appreciated.

We value your association with Myntra.

Our customer and partner safety is o[censored]tmost importance to us and we follow the highest safety standards while trying to deliver happiness to our customers.

“Everything You Need To Look Good”

At one end he is saying - "We value your association with Myntra." Heart in heart they know, such incidents do take place with online company where the warehouse person or vendor tries to con/cheat customer by doing all this.

The vendor of shoe has tried to get rid of this pair by sending it to me and then refusing to accept the return / exchange. I am not at fault and I seek resolution - exchange or return of this wrong sized product.

The consumer complaint and laws should be made stringent for such companies so that they do not run away from their responsibilities of resolving the complain and address the issue of consumers.

Why should I pay for a product which I didn't order, Myntra.com must provide me either a correct sized product or give me refund.

I took it to YouTube& twitter contacted @MyntraSupport and tweeted my problem with video proof uploaded on YouTube. I was contacted by next morning from senior support manager, product was collected within hours and refund initiated. Thanks
